SuperNET + Bits - why?
« on: October 07, 2014, 05:01:52 am »

If the price of what stays over 12000 satoshi for a week? BITS? Why is this part of the deal? The only logical explanation I can think of is they want to sell a bunch of BITS on the open market.

I am not making any kind of accusations, and it is not my intention to FUD. I am just trying to clarify part of the deal that I don't understand.

that is for the extra 600K, regardless the 1 million BITS is fully paid for

But why? Why is this part of the deal? What is the motive? Why does it matter what the short term price of the asset is?

it is what was negotiated. The other party wanted a higher market price to trigger some part of the payment, and even if it takes 6 months or more, it is a good deal. not exactly a short term thing.

By short term I was referring to

"if the price maintains over 12000 satoshis for a week"

I think ATMs would be great and not at all a "short term" boost. The reason I'm asking is because if it were me the only reason I would negotiate that part of the deal would be to sell off a bunch of BITS at a known price thus splitting the costs between supernet fund and the users who I was able to sell on.

Again, not trying to FUD, just want a clear understanding.

maintaining a price level for a week, indicates it wasnt any short term thing. It is just a metric that indicates that BITS has gained significant value.
