Hi all! As the news of UNITY gains momentum across social media and news outlets, it might behoove us to focus on a single term (at least for marketing purposes) when referring to UNITY...errrr, the SuperNET....wait, no...the Super Network. lol See what I mean?

This will help minimize confusion in the press, new community members, and prospective community members/investors.

Poll will run for 28 days.

It shows results only after you have voted. You are not allowed to change your vote, so vote wisely.

Of course, you can end up calling it whatever you'd like (even late for dinner!) in conversation - I'm hoping that putting up a poll will help everybody think about this and align the community for a specific name when referencing James's awesome brain baby.

"UNITY" just makes sense...united crypto currecies.

"SuperNET" isn't as clear.

Wasn't UNITY just supposed to be the trading symbol?

I think we should stick with superNET unless James wants to rename it. But superNET is still the official name and the name everybody uses.

You're welcome to start a dedicated forum for UNITY. I don't have the time or expertise to do that. I saw a gap, and asked Damelon to fill it. This subforum can always move to a dedicated forum that is brought up. Any member of the greater UNITY community is welcome here.

Before knowing anything about the project it represents, someone seeing the word SuperNet will immediately, intuitively get the idea that this is something to do with leveraging the power of the net to achieve more than could be achieved otherwise – the clue is in the name.

As in: Supercharging the Net(work) effect of all the participating cryptos.

super as in superset, combining more than one
the tech details are not 100% precise, but it is quite a good explanation

I just got lazy to type out the long word so I mad it SuperNET, which also fits in 10 char asset name

how do you differentiate SuperNET <-> UNITY? Is the first one the official name and UNITY the name of the asset? Why not name the asset Supernet as well?

SuperNET is the name of the asset, UNITY is the trading symbol

I agree on that, from a technical perspective. From a marketing perspective, I don't think it has the same punch that the ticker symbol has.

Unity is sounds more professional.

For example, Google called their Global Positing System product Google Maps. Not, Google SuperGLOBE.

I like the simplicity of this design. It has a badge like quality and perhaps the colours could be developed, maybe an example is like an iconic stamp you might see on a piece of titanium hardware. SuperNET is very strong and describes what the service is. UNITY is good but may be describing the vision for the service or a sub-brand or SuperNET.

Really like the logo.

Love the SkyNet name , but I would assume somebody would be sued pretty quick.

Maybe it is too late but I like UNITY more, so I created a logo proposal.
It reflects the goal of the project in yin/yang style and it match NXT colors also.
- embrace the best coins
- achieve balance

Oh no I went and bought like 10500 nxt of this SHIT. thinking it was SUPERNET, the ticker on Bter got me all confused... F**** . Is it a complete scam or is there a chance I could get my money back?
