Glad you secnd that! Having this information would really help the marketing committee focus its efforts, and prevent us from pushing "awesome new features" that may in fact be only at the theoretical/planning stage. Knowing where the gaps are can guide us to help with developer recruitment, too!

Exactly.

It would be good to check the list that is currently advertised and go over it and make a "reality check".
Also having a deadline for certain features would allow us to push things more to the outside world.

Who could we interface with for this?

Since Jean-Luc has officially announced that he steps back from the TechDev committee from the reasons he mentioned,
We need to get the TechDev committee up to speed.

I am a bit worried about the fact that there are extremely important that need to be implemented urgently,
yet there seems to be a lac of decision making.

Of course, with TechDev this is probably the most difficult of all the committees,
and thinking about that, (and a friendly little nudge from EvilDave),
one has to realize that TechDev is NOT about getting the whole future of NXT decided and implemented in one single push.

TechDev is about spending funds. Funds in a mix of donations and from the unclaimed coins (sry Pouncer), which are sitting there unspent, doing nothing.
I have tried to move this forward, but I can not and do not want to do this alone.

Since antanst was in the original vote also and has received a substantial number of votes,
I suggest him as replacement for Jean-Luc, if he is willing to accept.

In terms of getting things done, it seems that the 3 most pressing issues are: Voting System, Asset Exchange, and getting Devs hired.

I'll ask Jean-Luc what his priority would be in terms of work required, and priority re. getting these two features online.

Also, please feel free to make suggestions re. hiring of Devs.
We have three serious applicants, but we need help with the Java and the NRS specific parts of the interviews.

Best,
l8orre

TechDev is about spending funds. Funds from the unclaimed coins, which are sitting there unspent, doing nothing.

plus additional donations (1,000,100) & forging fees (340) earned. This is the largest (3,905,115) of all community funds at the moment.

Will the Tech Dev committee be involved in helping find Nxt Core Dev team members to help JL?
