ISP blocking ports
« on: August 23, 2015, 07:50:18 pm »

Hello there,

I've been using my Raspberry PI to forge NXT for some months. Now I was willing to set it as a public node, but my ISP provider (3G) is blocking ports. The ports are not blocked by the firewall, not the router nor the 3G stick. (Many costumers using this ISP remark the same issue in forums, too).

Is there any way to run a public node in this situation? Some kind of obfuscation maybe?

Thanks

- does the provider block all the ports? You can try to change parameter
Code: [Select]
nxt.peerServerPort=....  to non-blocked port.
