2) The other half has been air dropped to NXT holders, who in December 28th received 0.5 IGNIS per every NXT they held.

I was keeping some NXT on my core wallet NXT-RCVK-J3KG-TLAD-9UUB7 for quite a long time before Dec 28 and those are still there as of now. Still I can't see any IGNIS under Assets in blockchain explorer. Is there anything I am/was doing wrong?

Did you read the info above from vanbreuk?
Whoever received IGNIS in either way can now access them using the same account passphrase in the new main net Ardor client.

Nxt Asset Exchange / Re: Ignis - Ardor - Exchange Asset
« on: February 02, 2018, 01:57:46 pm »
Hey all, so I got some free Ignis :) cool but I don't really want them so thought I would be able to exchange them for Ardor. I've installed Ardor and can see the Ignis so I tried to use the asset exchange (IIRC) but got a message saying I didn't have enough funds. Do I need Ardor first like Electrum/Gas when transferring ERC20 tokens?

Thanks peeps

Yes, for all transactions involving Ardor you need Ardor for paying the transaction fee.

It is shameful, impudent, and crossed any limit.
It can not be that 18 days have passed, and there is no response from Nxt or Bittrex.
They shame and destroy the crypto industry.
They caused enormous financial damage to all investors in the coin, and actually shot themselves in the head.

A disappointed investor.

There WAS a response yesterday from Bittrex concerning the opening of Ardor trading on this exchange. So no need to be disappointed.

Trading & Exchanges / Re: Best way to cash out Ignis currently?

the coins were on the bitrex stock

You don't get anything, if your NXT were on an exchange.
The exchanges got the IGNIS, so eventually they have to distribute them to their customers.

Nxt General Discussion / Re: NXT/ARDOR/IGNIS Confusion

i have ardor with me and i see bittrex is giving 1:1 based on snapshot. the issue is i have 300 ardor in NXT wallet, will i be eligible for 1:1 ardor as well ? or should i buy NXT to get free airdrops of ignis. i would prefer 1:1 ardor though  as i am bullish on ardor in long term.

Only NXT holders will get free IGNIS (1 NXT : 0.5 IGNIS). So you have to buy NXT.
Some Background info: In 2016 there was a three month long snapshot/airdrop from NXT balances that resulted in the original ARDR distribution. So both ARDR and IGNIS spawn from NXT balances. The main difference is that ARDR was initially 100% distributed to NXT holders, while IGNIS has a split 50% sold in the recent ICO, and 50% airdropped to NXT holders the next 28th of December.

Nochmal ein Dankeschön (dieses Mal auf deutsch) an alle, die mich unterstützt haben  :)

Sending messages and changing your account info are also transactions, because these operations change the block chain.

When the IGNIS are deposited in the NXT wallet.....What will that look like ???  two different tokens in one wallet

Who told you that IGNIS will arrive in the NXT wallet?

IGNIS will be the first child chain token and only be in the Ardor platform. In the corresponding Ardor client, you can select between the different childchains. At first, there will be ARDR, IGNIS and Bitswift.

You can play around already with the Ardor client in testnet and see the user interface. https://www.jelurida.com/ lower half of the page is the download for Ardor testnet

Nxt Helpdesk / Re: Why NXT deposited in wallet not in Balance?
« on: December 15, 2017, 12:21:14 pm »
Account Balance is the amount of NXT you hold. If transferred recently it will take some time (1440 confirmations) to be fully acknowledged.
Assets Value is the value of other assets you hold (ARDR, ...)
Currencies Value is the value of other currencies you hold (JLRDA, ...)

Thanks very much for the explanation. Do you have any details on the charges made while navigation the account?  I was charged 1 NXT for adding my email address to the Info tab and 1 NXT for sending a message in order to get my second Public key?  Are there other charges to anticipate or avoid?
Only transactions are charged. A transaction must be confirmed by your entering the passphrase (unless you acces the client with the key symbol button and enter your passphrase beforehand).

Only the account ID (NXT-.........) is relevant for transactions.

You can sell at most 99 NXT of them since the sell transaction costs 1 NXT. Did you try to sell 99 NXT?

I have NXT in my nxt wallet, after the snapshot, if I remove my nxt from the wallet and sell them before jan 1 when ardor is launched, will I still have access to the IGNIS from the snapshot, even if I no longer have the NXT?

Yes, what you do with your NXT after the snapshot is irrelevant for the amount of IGNIS you get in the airdrop.

This is the IGNIS Future Price. Need not match with real price in January.

Hi VanBreuk!

As a long-term Nxt user, I volunteer for this task.

Thanks for stepping up :) I also think you'd fit very well.

But let's wait a couple days to see if anyone else is interested and we need to have an election.

Thanks to all who are supporting me so far.

No problem with waiting...

Nxt Helpdesk / Re: Passphrase gone from second? created ID

Did you enter each character including spaces (if applicable)? Every character counts.
There is no way to somehow get the passphrase. If it would, compromising NXT accounts would be easy.

Nxt Helpdesk / Re: Ardor and nxt in same wallet with same id?
« on: December 07, 2017, 03:08:14 pm »
Is it possible to store both ardor and nxt in the same wallet with the same id?
At present, Ardor is an asset in the Nxt platform. So it is possible to store both Ardor and Nxt in one account.
After the snapshot, Ardor assets from the Nxt blockchain will be automatically transferred to the Ardor blockchain and will become the parent chain's coin there.

Nxt Helpdesk / Re: help me please, I can't find my NXT
« on: December 06, 2017, 03:30:04 pm »
Did you look at Monetary System link at the left side?

Look for JLRDA -- these are not assets in the Nxt blockchain, but monetary system coins.

Nxt Helpdesk / Re: buy nxt
« on: December 06, 2017, 03:26:46 pm »

I tried to buy nxt by bitelit.

I've got a message that it's the wrong wallet.

Is the NXT xxx-etc my walletnr?

What do I have to fill in, in the message?
Yes, NXT-.......... is your account ID
I don't know about bitelit. In case you mean litebit.eu, the message can be left empty unless litebit tells you something different.
