Nxt Helpdesk / Re: Half of Ignis disappeared
« on: January 08, 2018, 09:47:24 pm »
Your account ARDOR-AGJD-UDVQ-HL9V-FE5YQ shows the correct balance of 27.6729 IGNIS.

https://testardor.jelurida.com is a wallet for Ardor test net, not Ardor main net. It works on the test blockchain with test tokens without value. The 13.8364 IGNIS you have there are test IGNIS, and the initial distribution of IGNIS in the test net did not follow the same proportion as the main Ardor launch.

Use your own Ardor client, get it at https://jelurida.com and when you check your account there you'll see the real balance.

Can you provide your NXT account address? Otherwise it is difficult to check.

I'm sorry, but as clearly stated during the account creation process, if you lost the passphrase for your account there's nothing you can do to access the NXT you sent to that account.

I'd like to stay on the test network, as I'm running a POC
For a corporate.
Please advise how could I open the testnet wallet, and load it with some test coins.

If you want to run Ardor 2.0.10 (or any other version) in testnet, you can either select the testnet option during installation, or you can configure your Ardor client to run using testnet. For this, the recommended way is to create a configuration file, ardor/conf/nxt.properties, with the following line:
Code: [Select]
nxt.isTestnet=trueThis will override the default "false" in the general configuration. If you already created a nxt.properties file with other custom configuration options, just add this line to the bottom of the file. Restart the Ardor software with this modification added.

And please do not use the "Report" button again to bump a help request. This pings the forum staff unnecessarily. If you cannot wait for someone to provide an answer in the forums, get an account in the Ardor/Nxt slack ( https://nxtplatform.org/slack ) and ask in live chat.

Nxt General Discussion / Re: I only have master passphrase, any hope?

Have you tried that passphrase with the official Nxt client? Maybe you did not use the myNXT web wallet at all, otherwise you would have a login email and password (and you would have received myNXT emails in that address).

Please rename "Effective Balance" to "Forging Balance". I have observed that it confuses newbies. They see Effective Balance is zero for whatever reason and it scares them. The word "Effective" is pretty meaningless on its own. Effective at what? The word only works if you already know what it means.

Agreed completely.

Nxt Helpdesk / Re: HELP ... PASS PHRASE
« on: January 04, 2018, 04:12:06 pm »
Hi veraj,

I understand that you downloaded a copy of your myNXT wallet data following the procedure described here - https://nxtforum.org/mynxt-info/accessing-your-mynxt-wallet-accounts-in-the-nxt-client/

In the end of that process you obtain the passphrase for the account/s you were operating using myNXT. This passphrase is the one you need to send transactions from the same account using the official Ardor client (for Ardor blockchain, ARDR/IGNIS tokens) or Nxt client (for Nxt blockchain, NXT token).

Nxt Helpdesk / Re: NXT for ARDR without exchange
« on: January 04, 2018, 02:52:18 pm »
Hello Jules,

before the Nxt snapshots in December 28, there was a trade pair NXT/ARDR in the Nxt asset exchange, but with the snapshots the value of Ardor moved to its own separate blockchain, so the ARDR assets in Nxt blockchain cannot be traded anymore.

To trade right now NXT to ARDR (unless you found a private trade, that is) you need to go through BTC in a central exchange. Go to Bittrex for example, transfer there your NXT, sell them for BTC, and buy ARDR with BTC.

Mynxt.info / Re: Accessing your MyNxt Wallet accounts in the Nxt Client
« on: January 03, 2018, 09:15:47 pm »
A note to users who missed the warnings, website notices and emails about the myNXT wallet site closing in December 31, and did not download a backup of your myNXT wallet so you can keep using the accounts:

For a limited amount of time, I will be able to send by request a copy of the wallet.json.aes file to users who need it, and have their myNXT credentials available. Please see the first post in this topic to understand how the wallet backup process works.

Remember that this wallet.json.aes file was encrypted with your myNXT master password, so you still require to have it in order to decrypt the wallet data using the Wallet Viewer tool.

If you want to request a copy of your myNXT encrypted wallet data, please send me a personal message. I'm asking you to have a little patience, there's a lot of requests. But all will be addressed.

Mynxt.info / Re: Accessing your MyNxt Wallet accounts in the Nxt Client

Ok. Ive got a problem. I backed up my Mynxt wallet, extracted the paraphrase, and loged into the new ardr client. Everything worked fine until i tryed to make a transfer from my second Mynxt address  (i had two address in the same Mynxt account). So basically i can only use one of my addresses. When i got to make a transfer from my second address it says the paraphrase  (the one i exported from Mynxt wallet backup) is incorrect.

Need help

If you downloaded your myNXT wallet backup and used the wallet viewer to decrypt it, in the contents there were as many accounts as you had in your myNXT wallet. If you had two accounts in the myNXT wallet, your decrypted wallet will show two accounts in the list, each with its ID (the ID is displayed in the old numeric Nxt address format, since the wallet viewer itself is old) and password/passphrase.

Nxt Helpdesk / Re: IGNIS snapshot and JLRDA tokens.
« on: January 03, 2018, 12:18:42 am »
Hello cbx6pot,

those JLRDA assets were a scam attempt, sent by someone after the IGNIS ICO finished. So please ignore them. IGNIS has been distributed in two ways:

1) Half sold in the ICO from Jelurida. The ICO was using a currency in the Nxt Monetary System (not an asset!) called JLRDA, which was sent only to users who participated in the ICO
2) The other half has been air dropped to NXT holders, who in December 28th received 0.5 IGNIS per every NXT they held.

Whoever received IGNIS in either way can now access them using the same account passphrase in the new main net Ardor client.

Dear VanBreuk,

My situation is that I created a NXT wallet by using official NXT client, then I missed one word when storing the passphrase (maybe the last one). I tried to use ardor.tools/typo/typo.html but it didn't work. How can I recover my passphrase because I have balance in this wallet? Thank you.

since that is not a myNXT wallet issue but a general Nxt issue, please check this help topic in the Jelurida support desk. But the loss of a word in the standard Nxt passphrase sounds critical, specially if you're not sure of the position the word was in.

the myNXT wallet was closed following the plan and won't go back online, but for a few days it still is possible to recover your wallet data from the site if you hold all your credentials. Please send me a personal message if you want to look into it.

i see that nxtplatform.org/download/ and header of this forum still point to Nxt Client 1.11.11.

Nxt Helpdesk / Re: Can't Access Wallet!
« on: December 28, 2017, 06:36:22 pm »

first of all, if your NXT/ARDR had been moved to your own account (this is, an account you hold the passphrase for) don't worry. Having trouble displaying the wallet and having actual trouble with your account are different things.

If you're positive that you were not running multiple Nxt instances in your computer (which would cause some of the errors) then you seem to have connection problems. If you're using Nxt in light client mode, that has been happening often today due to the activity peak in the network, and specially in light client nodes.

You could try to restart the Nxt software until it connects to a good peer, and there's also one solid solution: switch to full node. To do this easily if in you are in light client mode, you can

1) Reinstall your wallet, and leave the "light client" option unchecked
2) Download a recent copy of the Nxt blockchain, available at https://www.jelurida.com/NXT-nxt_db.zip
3) Unzip it, and following the txt instructions inside, copy the downloaded nxt_db folder to your Nxt data folder. In your case, into C/Users/<>/AppData/Roaming/NXT/ and replacing the existing nxt_db folder if present
4) Start Nxt, give it a few minutes to catch up with the last blocks and check again

Edit: Your probably found a good peer after restarting in light mode

Nxt Helpdesk / Re: transfer nxt from jelurida wallet not credited
« on: December 28, 2017, 04:29:58 pm »
so sorry, ..
i just double check .. looks like that my message was encrypted.. but the exchange ask not to encrypted,..
so what can i do to make my balance credited ?

You'll need to open a ticket in the exchange support, I'm afraid there's nothing we can do here.

Nxt General Discussion / Re: Noob feedback on Windows client - two issues
« on: December 28, 2017, 01:05:41 pm »
The network has been under heavy pressure during the last hours. Some light clients may have had problems finding an available peer to connect to.

But keep in mind that the fact you had trouble to see your balance does not mean your account has any problems. If you sent NXT to your account, and you saved the passphrase correctly, your funds will be there. And if they were there before block 1636363, they participated in the airdrop.

Nxt Helpdesk / Re: transfer nxt from jelurida wallet not credited

Your transaction was sent correctly.

If you sent it to an exchange, it is up to them to credit it. But today there's been a huge amount of traffic, so exchange services may also be delayed.
