Automated Transactions / Re: Information of the AT project

just a question ... is the asset on the AE still alive?

I'd like to get me some shares. but from which the dividend is paid?
also the price seems so as if many want their shares only going to be fast.
the price is still pretty dumped?

Yes, the price is low because people don't believe it will eventually reach main net.

I do not wish to extend this uncertain situation in NxtAT -- I believe we should move forward.  The situation with the funds stay as is.  However, I would like to request that the majority of the funds be disbursed after the integration to production and not at the integration to testnet.  This would keep the team motivated to integrate it to production.

Thanks.

are you serious?
i dont want get others money.

but if you are, i will keep my word which i talked to you in skype on Oct 15.
"how about:NxtAT funding will pay Vbecas, me, Ian for 500k,300k,200k respectively. After the payment NxtAT funding will remain 368K.."

I thought Ian is out of the picture in NXTAT?  I thought in the last post of vbecas, he stated he will receive 400k, when did it become 500k?

1.QoraAT projects show the opposite, that we are very motivated on the whole AT project.

2. Yes that was the case at first, but seems like there is nobody there able to support the project yet, if I take more background rules. Btc2nxt is the most knowledgable about the project, but he might need some more time to be able to fully support it.

3. No comments.

4. Whats wrong with that? Isn't jl or other devs involved in more that one projects?

5. No one has been paid after we started the intergration, for the tests he has been paid more than fair, and he also got the assets , from which he sold some. I have also said numerous times that we will get paid when we release the testnet, a desicion that was for the best interest of the asset holders in case of failure. I even told him he can get all the funds and all the assets if he can provide a functional testnet, but my offer got rejected. ( i was just trying to prove my point ).

Noted.

I am just stating reasons why I am concerned and supports the creation of the committee.  As an outsider, it is but normal that events like these would cause concern.  Yes, you are motivated to AT, but are you motivated to NXTAT?  As, I understand, you guys are clearly distinguishing between AT and NXTAT -- NXTAT does not own AT.  Is the team's attention going to be divided on the NxtAT project?   Then, you have another new coin coming up.  Wouldn't it further dilute the time given to this project?  These are but just legitimate questions and concern of an asset holder.

Clearly, you are not supportive of the committee creation.  Also, pouncer and msin are not supportive of it.  But as pouncer said, the right to the funds rest with the NxtAT team.  If the committee creation will not be done, then please assure your investors that you would see this thru the end of the project.  You will complete the milestones set forth by the project initially.  You will not abandon this project and continue on to greener pastures.

So if there is any problem specifically with me, just tell me you want me to leave, and i will send all the assets and funds minus my share, but dont expect me to support any further the project or release the testnet.

I think NxtAT team suffers a disease of being melodramatic.   Everyone just wants to leave at the slightest suggestion/criticism.  Now, do you see why I am not convince that the team is * motivated * to the NxtAT project?

Jl777 constantly receives backlash and being mocked at for its supernet, do you see him quitting?  Cfb is constantly being ridiculed by bitcoin community.  In comparison, my suggestion is mild compared to that and you want to quit.

Face it -- we are all not * one minded *.  We are not herds.  You will have investors who are unhappy with how the asset is progressing.  If you truly think for the good of your asset holders, time will tell.  Prove to me, that I am wrong.

(A) If we assume the team (or remnants thereof) will stick around to complete the project, this proposal will only demotivate them, turn them from being entrepreneurs into paid employees or contractors, and create a whole lot of new issues (How are we to agree to terms of disbursement of funds? Who to pay? How much? Per month? By milestone? What is considered “completed”? What if core devs refuse to integrate?).

This proposal of asking the issuer to turn over the funds to a third party who will manage it amounts to requesting a refund because we have taken away the control of the funds that rightfully belong to them. I also do not see where the idea of a right to "vote" for a refund comes from.

Yes.  I agree that this proposal under normal circumstance only creates an additional burden to the project.  But several events happened which led me to doubt their * motivation *, speak up and support the request for the formation of the committee:

1. Qora AT project
2. Ciyam and vbecas taking supposedly "background" roles in the NxtAT project.  Then, a turnaround from vbecas saying he is still very much in the project.
3. Ciyam leaving AT project
4. vbecas announcing a new coin of proof they are making
5. btc2nxt coming out saying he isn't being paid

This is exactly how the techdev committee manages projects that are funded from the community's money. However, the funds we're talking about here does not belong to the community. They belong to the asset issuer(s). If they voluntarily decide to do so, fine. Asking them to hand over the funds to a third party through a "vote" does not seem right.[/font]

Yes.  Please bear in mind it is one of the NxtAT team member (there are only 2 members left in NXTAT) that requested for the formation of the committee.  In a scenario where the NxtAT team cannot decide how to proceed on, isn't it the duty of the shareholders to help and decide on the course of action of the asset itself?

The testnet is ready , and the usecases lottery, dormant and auction have been tested. I will release the testnet tomorrow where i could be all day home providing fixes when needed. How will the committee be able to give a price on the work we ve done without understanding the project and the effort?

Wow. that's great.  We hope then that the AT and the use cases will be deployed to production.  With regards to the template tools, I remember that the initial objective was to release several template tools such that the ordinary person can make use of AT with simple clicks.

With regards to the price of the work done --- the developer will request the amount from the committee for the work done.  The committee will approve the funds or negotiate a lower value if the committee feels that the funds need to be stretch for the completion of other milestones.  We don't want to end up not being able to pay for the other milestones, right?  It's a balance between the amount of work done and milestones to be completed.

I think the NxtAT team has to understand that we are all in this together and we all want the project to be completed.  The NxtAT team has a significant amount of shares given to them and so, we all have the same objective --- to see the completion of the AT project in NXT and provide value to the shareholders.

Just to make it clear about what you are asking now. Will an independent committee handle the account? They will provide also support and further development of the nxtAT? I really want to hear what Pouncer also sugests

The independent committee only handles and approves the funds.  They will control the NxtAT account.  NxtAT team continues in the development of the NxtAT.  This separates the funds from the developer.  Usually such scenario provides a higher level of confidence among the shareholders on the project and thereby providing a higher quality of trust on the project.

It is like the money is held in escrow by an independent committee till the completion of milestones.  The milestones as I understand for the NxtAT team are as follows:
1. Integrate to testnet
2. Integrate to production
3. Use Cases in production:
    - crowdfunding
    - lottery
    - dormant funds transfer
4. Template Tools

We have to make sure that the amount of money in the NXTAT is enough to cover the completion of the above.  What worries me is the NxtAT team seems to be prioritizing the Qora integration rather than fulfilling the above promises.  Thus, this is what I mean by * conflict of interest *.

The majority of the asset holders have spoken and are in favor of a separate committee to handle the NxtAT account.  I would like to request * vbecas * to heed the majority of the shareholders and do what is right for NxtAT.

This would increase the transparency of the asset and provide a professional image of the asset.  Thus, increasing the value of the asset.  NxtAT team from what I understand has substantial shares in NxtAT too.  This is a win-win for all.

For now, my 50m NXT AT goes to vote for an independent committee to oversee NxtAT funds.

my and my friend's  195m say yes

So, a total of 245m NXTAT shares votes for an independent committee to handle the NXTAT account.

I also think this is a good idea and I own a little NXT and a little NxtAT. But I don't understand the reason for 50m NXT reference. Are you contributing that 50m NXT to the furtherance of AT? Or are you just saying that since you own so much NXT that your vote ought to count more? :)

:)  I so wish I have 50m NXT.  What I mean is that I have 50m NXTAT asset.  I have sank most of my NXT in the NXTAT asset.  So to me, this is a very important matter.

I am still in nxtAT team, I will release the code probably today, but is better to start running the testnet during the weekend so i can provide support for any errors that may happen (as then i will be home all day), and i will stick around for at least until the project and the code flows as expected.

I was upset the previous days for various reasons, but now is more clear to me, and after all this is *my baby* and I want to see it out there.

Btc2nxt can provide some  support, but he is not fully able yet to do it, especially in more complex problem's that may come.

In my opinion, to have a committee handling the approval of funds from the NxtAT would be ideal.  In supernet, there is a committee which they request funds for approval.  Somehow, the NxtAT team is less structured than I hoped it would be.

If the programmer themselves decide how they are paid, I am betting there would be a misuse of such power --- specially, when there is a * conflict of interest * in the projects being done.

I would like to call for a vote among the NxtAT asset holders.  If the majority of the asset holders think its ok that the team handles their own finances given the * conflict of interest *, then I would gladly accept such.

For now, my 50m NXT AT goes to vote for an independent committee to oversee NxtAT account and funds.

It seems btc2nxt is the only one left in NxtAT team. vbecas and ciyam has moved on to integrating qora.  if that is the case, as a major NxtAT asset holder, i suggest that the NxtAT --- NXT ACCOUNT be transferred to a committee.

Nxt AT money should not be controlled anymore by vbecas or ciyam.  As they have already shown that their interest lie elsewhere and they have left the team.  To leave the keys to them presents a moral hazard or * conflict of interest *.

I strongly agree btc2nxt suggestion that it should be controlled by a committee like pouncer or msin.  Any funds to be disbursed out should be approved by the committee.

I hope other asset holders would come out and voice their opinion regarding this matter.

EDIT: If they decide to include it to the mainnet, we will still provide support, further development and run all the use cases we are going to create - thus paying dividends to the asset holders from these cases and consulting fees respectively.

As an early NxtAT asset holder, I was led to believe that the team would share their consulting revenue with the asset holders.  There was NO clause to say that only specific revenue that touches NXT would be shared.  That one was added just NOW.

In fact, when NXT core developers were showing hesitation in the AT code, the team was saying that they would lookout for their asset holders and would integrate AT with other coin should the need arises.  So I guess those are all just talk --- now, they are really integrating with other coins but leaving their original asset holders behind.

I am really very disappointed with how this ended up.  I really hope CIYAM would save his reputation somehow and do some last minute maneuvers to save Nxt AT asset holders.

it appears you are using the old version of MGW GUI :(
please post token from this acct and the BTC address you want the withdraw to go to, I will have to do it manually

Oh man! Sorry for the hassle!!! I know you are very busy man.  First time using this mgwBTC.

BTC Address: 1HU1a7TDaVtfLx2DKrd2LUAASLxNdWfD6x

Thanks very much!
its ok, the first time I send it manually: 9857fbc414e9e0263aae7f939c069eb79d146083d93603ed4f773f3215a834fd
but the second time (if it happens) becomes a donation to MGW :)
So far I have made 60 cents USD!

James

Thanks very much!!! I will definitely be more careful the second round.  I got the BTC.  I think a lack of warning message maybe the cause.  Because I was waiting for the OK message in the multigateway.org to say that you can use it already.  But the message never say to update to the new UI.
