Looks like a beta client will be up relatively soon. (don't think its Open Beta though)

A moment ago - Fuserleer: ok, 1 hour, at 8PM UTC, it'll be up

edit: first of eMunie's Beta clients (version 9-79060.4381) is out if you have been part of the eMunie beta testers. In respect to Dan, won't post the actual link here.

Anyway what is the current market cap estimated to be?

current price atm 0.00000160 satoshi x 8,999,999,999 XEM total supply = 14399.9999984 BTC x $244 = $3,513,599.99 est marketcap

Seems like eMunie is getting closer to release. Probably a few months out though still.

Looks like a new test client is finally coming in week or two from talk on their chat box. Dan seems to be finishing some last minute tweaks before he releases it.

Can anyone even get to BTER.com anymore?
i haven't been able to in days

You can log on to the website and such. But there haven't been any withdrawals (you can view your balance) other than I believe CNY which just started up.

I just finished using Bter a few days prior to the incident so luckily had only 1600 NXT there.

[X-Post as quite worrying me]

A friend I just introduced to Nxt is still downloading the blockchain and his antivirus is pointing to peers as source of virus?

Check the tread here: https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/virus-in-the-peers/

If anyone has ever experienced this please enlighten me... He is on Windows, I am on OSX, the screenshot on the tread linked comes from him...

It's been talked about before

Why do I have the feeling it's gonna *BLOW* up very very very soon!!!.... like in 3...2....1...... KaBOOM!!!.....  ;D
I was just about to post something like this.
A daily gain of +25% when most other coins haven't moved at all ... there's no way it will last for long.

as long as the dump is less than the pump up...

I expect a crash soon :P

one hell of a wall on Polo ;D

It should be 'NXT-4SAX-EHLG-KF9H-GQE25'' (you need the NXT part of your address)

If you need the NXT public key you can use the getAccountId API in http://localhost:7876/test to obtain public key from passphrase. This is done when you are running your client.

Interesting :)

Thanks for helping

Nice looking exchange. Hopefully some volume moves over to this exchange.

Nxt Monetary System / Re: Close Open Buy and Sell Orders
« on: February 08, 2015, 11:27:24 pm »
In the Asset Exchange, one just needs to go to "Open Orders" located below the "Asset Exchange" tab (once clicked) and you can cancel buy/sell orders from there (as long as you have the 1 NXT for the tx. fee).

With Monetary System, it depends if you set up an "Offer" which will expire at the block height you specified. Or the "Exchange ___ for ___" tabs which will either buy from or sell to whatever "Offers" appear at the time you place the order. If not then the NXT (or currency) you put in for the order will be returned to you (minus tx. fee) at the next block.

Alternate Cryptocurrencies / Re: Rimbit - What is this?
« on: February 08, 2015, 10:19:08 pm »
I see its up on CMC at the moment but have never heard of it, is this another IPO scam?
rimbit will replace bitcoin!
at least thats what they say
and with volumes quadrupling from $30 per day to $120 per day, it wont be long before it is worth more than all other crypto combined

P.S. their tech? seems to be a pure novacoin clone

That makes me laugh so much, will be interesting to see what comes from it.

I see there is a 391% increase on CMC this morning!
I guess people are starting to panic buy the stuff...

seeing how there is a 24 hour volume of <$200 right now...could be just one guy playing with the price...lol  :P

Is there a working Scrypt GPU minter?

I believe the one ScripterRon made supports scrypt.

5k wall got pulled or eaten?

I believe it was eaten. Can see it with the huge buy spikes of 20+ BTC each on BTER

Monetary System / Question With Sending Currencies in Monetary System
« on: February 07, 2015, 09:28:20 pm »
Would it be possible later down the line to have a tab in line with [Send NXT] in the top section of the client with something like [Send Currencies] or even [Send Asset]? Sorry if this is in the wrong section...

I know it sounds a little weird maybe its hard to code as well or impossible...But I think it would at least help the Currencies in the Monetary System if the "Currencies" in Nxt had just as primary a [Send] feature as NXT itself. Maybe in addition to a tab on the dashboard that a user can determine what Currency or Asset he/she wishes to show. Like have in the client Settings something like [Monetary System Currency to show on Dashboard:...] where a user can pick "EGOLD" as the Currency to show and on the dashboard a tab will feature "125.0201 EGOLD Balance" or something like that.

Like instead of going through [Monetary System]->[Currencies]->[My Currencies]->[Transfer] (or a similar process for sending Assets) to transfer Currencies(or Assets) to a different account. My idea (if possible) from any tab is just click on [Send Currencies] that would be placed next to [Send NXT] and be faced with a pop-up exactly the same as the [Send NXT] tab but just with a drop-down box for the Currency that a user can change to whatever he/she owns and wishes to send. The fee would show [in NXT] on the bottom of the pop-up not unlike it currently does with anything else. Unless of course the box that displays the Currency next to [Amount: ] is hard-coded into the client or something. Maybe a user can pre-determine what Currency(or Asset) is being sent, through settings or something.  ???

It is just an idea I wondered about...sorry if it sounds horrible lol  ;D
