100 mln tokens @0.000221btc (~3 NXT) = 300 mln NXT? Seriously? Who would have that kind of money to buy tokens? ;)
Another not so realistic project valuation. While it has great potential, assuming that the demo client worth 200th of Pokerstars is laughable.
Unless I'm mistaken it's not even possible at this point to finish the project without smart contracts or something similar, that doesn't even exist yet.

whats laughable is the unsubstantiated complaint, care to provide any professional counter analysis subsequently followed by a valuation. I think it will be more productive to provide one..
the project will be done unless you don't believe smart contracts will be implemented. the dev believes so

I don't need to provide a professional analysis, that's your job. I only have to voice my opinion of your valuation, first on the forum, then on the Asset Exchange. I'm done with the first one.

NODE is also working with a brainwallet, isn't it?
Yep

Short term development checklist;

http://blog.nodecoin.com/posts/node-short-term-development-plan

Whitepaper will be released today I think.

I wouldn't hold my breath. I'm not sure how complex and long is the whitepaper (I fear not enough), but koop4u is translating it and he really have to work for it to form proper sentences in english. It could take a while.

Just saw this; that's why.

Anyway. I'm in no rush.

Me neither, I'm more concerned about quality than speed.
I'm heavily invested into both Node and Crypti. My problem is that there is a significant difference in developer communication, and I'm not sure if this is only a language barrier issue, or there is a deeper, technical expertise difference as well. The Node whitepaper should be telling.

The advantages NEM has over Nxt are their PoI algorithm and their initial distribution.

That could take them a long way. If it will actually pose a threat to Nxt is questionable though. I doubt it. CfB already stated that he might copy the PoI algorithm if it works well.

Time will tell how NEM will perform.

I'm also very interested how NEM PoI will work in practice. PoW has it's weaknesses as is PoS. And we basicly have no idea about PoI.

There is no whitepaper yet but Crypti also have made something new. From their OP:
Quote
Combination of 3 PoS algorithms:

Proof-of-Purchase (purchases done since the last won forged block)
    Proof-of-Time (node running up-time)
    Proof-of-Identity (merchant address real-life validation)

The only thing of this I seen so far is the idea is that a node needs 1000 crypti to forge. It doesn't matter if it has more than that, there is no increase in forging power.
So far I like the idea very much (as long as they can prevent sybil attack), but I'm interested to see what will be the consequence of this in the long run. Should be more nodes -> more secure network, but one can never know.

Are they on any exchange yet?
No, they still don't have a stable enough client. Also, I don't think the API is ready.
But btc38 said they'll add it as soon as possible.

I also sent them a message that I want to deposit chickens and cows and got the same message back. Thinks looking up for farmers.

I cant understand, if 1.2.5b version only erases the 7 outgoing transactions of the BTER address 10715382765594435905 (hack transactions and next), why dont release a new version for every people 1.2.6=1.2.5b and one problem less...

 :o :o :o

Because that would be a centralised decision. This is the decentralised way, every forger can decide what action they support. Majority rules.

10
We are going to have to rollback the bitcoin blockchain too. :)

11
This day may destroy a significant portion of my wealth but the whole chain of events just so absurd that I
alternate between laughing and facepalming.

I think this is the first time in my life that I literally facepalmed.

12
Bter seriously panicked.

13
First lets just ask the thief nicely to give back the NXT they stole. No way they can keep it anyway.
When this fails I'm in favor of a roll back, but this has to be a one time solution.

+1440

Actually I changed my mind since then.

14
Considereing that 50 million NXT is around 3400 BTC right now......100BTC seems reasonable, tbh.
Return it in 10 increments: 10 BTC paid to hacker, 5 million NXT paid back to BTER, repeat.
This way no-one can break the deal and no escrow needed......

yes this wgat I had in mind
Me too. I think the bter guys are really rattled right now, and not thinking clearly. If every side calms down they will see this is the reasonable solution.

What a great time for a long block btw. :)

15
You know what, I changed my mind. I just sent 150k today to bter, but I vote no.
The greatest problem for NXT is it's reputation with initial distribution, a rollback would make too much damage.
What's done is done. The thief is willing to talk, negotiate.

16
Rollback would cause some problems.
For example I sent 100k+ to BTER today, it would be rolled back. However I already sold around 50k. What will happen? Bter could roll back my trade, (bad, bad idea), or freeze my account until I send the transaction again.
Lots of work, confusion and potential problems.

Clusterfuck.

17

This guys just taunting us, can we please revert it as soon as possible

Paying of the thief would be the best soution by far.
But it needs to happen soon, it may be a stalling tactic.

Also, how about we talk about that 0.5% withdraw fee Bter?

How to convert number NXT account ID to new format QR account?

https://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/wiki/QR_Codes_for_RS_Address_Format

Be aware that this format breaks the rules for a well-formed URI.  One specific example is that it uses "//" without an authority part.
Sorry,I mean How to convert number NXT account ID to new RS Address Format?
Bos new client did not allow to send NXT with numeral acc ID.
