AEUR / Ardorgate is stopping gateway service
« on: January 19, 2020, 05:44:29 pm »
Dear users,

Ever since we entered the market, our vision was to provide a gateway from fiat EUR to AEUR child chain token on Ardor platform.

We put in a lot of hard work and did everything in our power to make the outcome different, but market conditions, increasing regulation, banks not willing to work with crypto related business, inability to fund further development and maintain operations forced us to make a difficult decision:

With great regret, we’re announcing that Ardorgate service is shutting down.

We want to notify our users that we will terminate all services and servers after February 28, 2020 23:59 GMT.

All users have to withdraw their funds in the meantime. Please send AEUR to the reserve address ARDOR-NJ92-R5GB-HQB4-6NW7T with message attached (encrypted recommended) with your EUR banking information (IBAN account owner name, account No. in IBAN format). Please note, that minimum amount to withdraw is 10 EUR, while maximum amount to withdraw (per 24 hours) is 1000 EUR.

For users with amounts less than 10 AEUR, we will keep an open AEUR buy order on Ignis chain coin exchange until deadline.

We assure you that the team will focus on support during this period to resolve any possible issues as fast as possible. In case of any issues, please contact us through our website at https://www.ardorgate.eu/contact-us/

Thank you supporting us for so long, Ardorgate team

AEUR / [ANN] ARDORGATE- A gate between the EURO and the Ardor ecosystem
« on: January 30, 2018, 10:23:38 am »
https://www.jelurida.com/ardorgate-euro-peg-launched

Ardorgate and the new AEUR token are now live!
Monday, January 29, 2018
Jelurida has partnered with Ardorgate (www.ardorgate.eu) to deliver an Ardor-based Euro pegged child chain token named AEUR. We are excited to announce today the official launch of that child chain service. This expansion pushes Ardor further towards enabling blockchain technology for small and medium sized companies. It continues to prove the viability of the Ardor platform, and also creates a much needed fiat to crypto entry point to the Ardor ecosystem.

The new AEUR tokens can be used to trade any of the assets existing on the Ardor platform, and can be exchanged for ARDR or any child chain coin tokens. This provides a quick and simple entry point into the Ardor and cryptocurrency world using Euro. As each AEUR token will always equal exactly €1, this token will have an inherent stability guaranteed and backed by Ardorgate and their strategic partner Mistertango Bank, the bank serving as the payment processor.

The AEUR child chain represents an important use case and milestone in the growth of the Ardor platform. It enables easy conversion of fiat to crypto, allows buying and selling of items with prices denominated in Euro, trading of blockchain assets and paying dividends again in Euro, and makes participation in ICOs with prices based in Euro easier for all users.

"As a business man who has been dealing with crypto for a long time, I fully understand the challenges new users are faced with when trying to enter the crypto world. The AEUR token provides a simple and affordable solution for them, and a robust tool for businesses to transfer funds quickly between their real world projects and the Ardor platform. This is a one of a kind solution, which opens the door for many future enhancements.", says Martynas Bacevicius, the founder of Ardorgate.

"The entry point into crypto has always been a problem for our European customers, using the AEUR Ardor child chain we now have a simple solution to convert between the Euro and our tokens. We are excited to work with Ardorgate to deliver the best user experience in the blockchain industry", says Lior Yaffe, Co-founder and Managing Director at Jelurida.

Learn more about AEUR, and learn how to purchase it using your Mistertango Bank Account at https://www.ardorgate.eu/tutorial/.

About Ardorgate

Please be aware of ARDOR currency ID 17726756952534665094 on marketplace, sold by account ID NXT-9FND-JTQG-9E84-H2G9M. Possible scam. The real and official ARDR asset ID is 12422608354438203866. Please spread it in other channels.

Voting System / Voting and gaming
« on: September 04, 2015, 09:48:13 am »
Hi guys

I didn't dig very deep in voting system NXT has, but I'd like to ask, will this scenario with current voting system could work?

1. There is voting "are you idiot?" :) Voting is "yes" or "not" by NXT coins balance, let's say during next 1000 blocks.
2. My account A has 100K NXT and I vote with total amount.
3. After, I transfer my 100K NXT to account B and vote again on the same vote with the new account having 100K NXT and so on with accounts C,D,E...

Will this work? If yes, then it's easy gaming of the vote system, even when vote is by asset or whatever. What did I miss?

Nxt General Discussion / Windows 10
« on: June 05, 2015, 05:06:20 am »
As we know, starting from July 29, will be possible to upgrade current windows 7/8 systems to windows 10 for free. Did somebody try to run NRS on windows 10, using Microsoft inside program? Did devs dig into windows 10 for possible problems to run NRS in Windows 10 (java, UI, paths, etc.)?

General / index.html and beep
« on: December 23, 2014, 02:24:22 pm »
Hi UI devs

Could somebody point me to the place in index.html of NRS, which displays newly arrived transaction in Recent Transactions section? Because I'm a Grinch during christmas and have plenty of free time, want to try to code beep for every new appearing transaction in the list :)

P.S. I'm not a coder, but this is the start for digging deeper into NXT, starting from html  ;D

Just found decentral.tv and in the bottom running line with rates and volumes, there is no NXT. Is this "TV" only about bitcoins and clones? Why in most media NXT is under ignore?

Nxt General Discussion / Brainstorming needed on real world usage of NXT
« on: August 22, 2014, 08:29:40 am »
Hi all

I'm in talks with my good friend, operating newly opened flight tickets selling platform www.abitsky.com. This is a part of one of the biggest flight tickets selling platform in Eastern Europe http://www.greitai.lt/en/about-us/.

This company also operates online wallet for GBP and BTC www.mistertango.com and exchange www.misterbtc.com. So they have complete solution for accepting BTC for their business.

Now I'm pushing him to start accept NXT for flight tickets and we start brainstorming how it would be. Here is very preliminary what he can offer:

1. Flight ticket selling engine;
2. Implement btc/nxt prices  and engine for nxt->btc in abitsky.com or newly created webpage. His company needs to receive btc or eur for sold tickets

What is needed from nxt community:

1. Engine of accepting nxt and instant conversion and delivery of btc to the company. Company wants flight ticket cost in btc and +1EUR per ticket as their profit.

I'm thinking about an virtual company with its assets, where received nxt profit goes as dividends for asset holders.

Sorry for my english, it seems as complete mess, but let's start brainstorming about this how to get nxt to real world.

P.S. time for beer.
