Nxt Asset Exchange / Is the Asset Exchange an asset to NXT the platform?
« on: November 28, 2015, 07:01:06 am »
IMO, 95% of the so-called 'assets' on the AE are worthless crap that have no real-world use and/or value, whatsoever. None.

Feel free to argue that in its current form, the AE is an asset to NXT, the platform.

Had these for a little while, and have enjoyed the conversations and sometimes the bewildering looks on peoples faces when these cuties come out, but its time to sell some on.

Taking offers for the following coins......

1btc 2011 'error' Graded MS-66 SOLD
10btc Silver Graded MS-67 (non-Gold B) SOLD
25btc Gold
1btc Silver (Gold B)

Happy to exchange in person if in UK (maybe short plane ride to Europe)

P.S. I did actually check and ask, before i brought the devils coin onto these boards!  :P

Nxt General Discussion / Can a bricks and mortar Crypto shop work?
« on: June 03, 2014, 01:25:00 pm »
TXTCoinsNow, with his Cafe project ( https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/nxt-cafe-1st-in-the-united-kingdom/msg34680/#msg34680 ), has resurrected a project ive had in my mind for a while now. Thought i would now seek peoples thoughts, good and bad....

Ive been toying with the idea of opening a bricks and mortar crypto shop since last April. It would need to be in Central London/Camden Town so as to be initially supported by the novelty tourist trade, as im not sure there would be enough general interest to make it financially viable.  :-\

It would sell crypto related clothing and merchandise, like physical coins (funded and commemorative), sell gift cards/paper wallets, be a form of exchange, and have a cool area for hanging out with coffee n cakes.
The on-going vision would be to involve as many fellow outlets as possible in the area, and hopefully leverage xchange/business opportunities with them, and ultimately, be 'The' hub of all things going on in the UK crypto world, and leverage that status worldwide.

Question is, and before the AE gets a new entry, can a crypto shop be financially viable as described above, and/or is it still too early for such a thing to work, if at all?
