Nxt Marketplace / Markets (make it like assets or currencies)
« on: January 18, 2015, 04:06:02 pm »
Should add a feature to the Digital Goods Store that makes it similar to Assets or the Monetary System.

Allow people to BUY "DGS" Markets.  3, 4, and 5 letter Markets that are all "theirs" and they can decide WHO can post products in their Marketplace..

Nxt General Discussion / NxT or SuperNET Newsfeeder with categories
« on: November 11, 2014, 11:46:56 pm »
One of the ultimate goals of DeCentralization could be to get off of the General Internet altogether.

How hard would it be to add a NewsFeeder by catergories - and since News get's old quickly (no longer news after a while), it could simply timeout in a month or a week.  This way the blockchain wouldn't grow infinitely big?

Nxt General Discussion / BTCD - BitCoinDark
« on: September 12, 2014, 03:36:14 am »
Since BitCoinDark and NxT are going to be brothers and BTCD does not appear to have a forum, at least that I can find, I was hoping someone here could help me with a question..

A couple days ago, my BitCoinDark Wallet-QT stopped updating the blockchain.  After messing with it for a while, I finally gave up and found all remnants of BitCoinDark and deleted everything.  I of course backed up the .dat wallet file (several times).  I have now installed a fresh version of BitCoinDark-QT and uploaded the entire blockchain but cannot figure out how to IMPORT my old wallet file..

Any help would be appreciated..

Nxt General Discussion / All Coins to the Moon

WTF?  Why does CoinMarketcap have Bitcoin nearly $700 and NxT at .05+ and just about everything is going through the moon?

Jobs board / Nxt Industrial Automation Asset (Parts / Online Store)
« on: August 18, 2014, 03:10:05 am »
I handle Industrial Automation Parts Sales as a SIDE to my real Business.  It all happened by accident.  Basically, I sell Industrial Automation Parts.  These things are expensive, with my least expensive part being over $400 and my most expensive part being over $35k..  I can beat all the big guys who have huge Brick and Mortar Buildings and High Priced Engineers for Sales, except that I don't get the BIG volume discounts.  I make several sales a month, but it's all word-o-mouth..  I sell parts to Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US.

I am looking for 1 or 2 HIGHLY MOTIVATED SELF-DRIVEN ENTREPRENEURIAL TYPES, to build a webpage, to create an online store, to market the parts to thousands of Industrial Plants worldwide, to handle shipping and receiving, to handle invoicing and payments.  I am very happy to handle this via the NxT Asset Exchange, where every month we trade the Profits, probably from USD into NxT and distribute them based on Asset Percentage, but it's not required.  You could even sell assets, although not many would be needed.  I only BUY from vendors AFTER i have received an ORDER from a customer, and half the time I can get paid before I even have to make a payment.  So, if you wanted to issue assets to have some money on account, that would be fine.  If we don't have money on account, we will lose some sales, maybe about half (at this point).

I have handed 3 or 4 friends this project on a silver platter, mostly because they didn't have a job or lost their job, BUT, none of them had the Entrepreneurial Spirit and instead wanted a regular old boring job.  I do have one friend who has been helping me, partially because I travel all over and do not have a HOME so to speak.  I try to stay in the Pacific Northwest or Western Canada during summers and when it turns winter, head for Central America, New Zealand, or Australia.  She definitely has the Entrepreneurial spirit, although Industrial Parts is not really her thing.  She mostly does it for me as a favor and so she be a stay at home mother.  When/If this takes off, she may or may not want to be a part of it.

Just PM me if your interested, again, this needs to be someone(s) highly motivated and who habe that the EASY GOING - YET DRIVEN - WHERE LIFE IS A FUN EXPERIENCE, NOT A CHORE ATTITUDE.  This could be great for those of you who are not coders, yet want to be part of the Nxt experience.  It could be especially lucrative if one of you is a Mechatronics, Robotics or Electrical Engineer type, as you may be able to travel on the companies dime...

Nxt Improvement Proposals / Volunteer - sort of rookie programmer
« on: August 15, 2014, 05:17:05 am »
I got into BitCoin a couple years ago when it was at $9..  Been programming for 20 years, just not Internet / Webpage / Crypto programming..  I do industrial automation.  I see vlarmg doing a Dividend Distribution program, jhodl777 doing who knows what, kushti doing core stuff, and more..

I thought if there was someone out there who needed some help, with some guidance of course, I could volunteer to do some C++ work.  Sorry, in 20 years I have never even heard of Java being used for Industrial Automation, but C++ is used all the time.  I have done much scripting and various proprietary languages including a language completely built in spreadsheet (almost like Excel) for Industrial Vision Systems..

Nxt Asset Exchange / Revolving Labor Asset
« on: August 14, 2014, 02:30:49 am »
You know what I would really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really like to see?  A Revolving Labor Asset.  Let me explain.

I manage an industrial automation parts business that came about sort of by accident..

I have been doing Industrial Automation for over 20 years and travel around to various Plant sites all over the world to streamline these Plants.  There we're times when customers could not acquire the needed parts, so I started facilitating the exchange for them, only when they couldn't get em themselves..  Over time, this changed a bit, and now they come to be even sometimes when they could get them elsewhere.  This is actually a crutch as my main work is DOING Automation.  I have had 4 friends over the last 2 years help me out with parts sales, mostly because they lost their jobs.  But, none of them had the entrepreneurial spirit, except 1 of them, who has the spirit, but not in Industrial Automation.  Once I started learning about CryptoCurrencies I have dangled ideas in my head about how to make this business part of the New and Wonderous DeCentralized World (since I am a bit of an expert with Pure Trusts and the opportunities they present to keep you at arms length from CORPORATE NATION STATES).  Well, yesterday, the idea came to me in a flash, as follows:

What if I assets we're issued where every hour of labor was equal to 1 Asset and every week or every month, all profits we're distributed proportionately amongst the asset owners?  These Assets would slowly dwindle away over time, say 1 year.  For instance, you work 10 hours on January 1st and when January 30th comes you are issued NxT dividends proportionate to the profits made, say $250 worth of NxT.  Than, 36.5 days later, your January Asset was only worth .9.  Of course, you may have worked 10 more hours in February and therefore you now have 1.9 Assets.  In March, you work 10 hours and then you have 2.7 Assets (1+.9+.8).  See how this goes?

If I wanted some help marketing my current word of mouth Industrial Parts Automation Business, I would need someone to build a webpage and maybe a webstore, someone to market (find every applicable customer on the planet and send them an email with the website), someone to create the estimates, acquire the parts when paid, handle receiving from the vendor, shipping to the customer (direct shipping from vendor to customer when possible) and then invoicing (or invoice up front and issue HARD assets).  This biz would also need someone who was tech savy enough (myself for now) to answer all the tech questions that might occur before the Customer would issue an order.

The sales price of the parts I sell are from $400 to $35000, and I only mark up 10% to 15%, while the big engineering and industrial automation brick and mortar companies have to mark up 25% to 40%..  Can you imagine if these things started selling all over the world, all because SALES, MONEY, etc. was all handled as automatically and as decentralized as possible?  Each position could have a max hours per week so no one went crazy and billed for 100 hours a week and as sales grew more people could come on board.

Question:  Is there a mechanism like this anywhere or can it be build easily enough into NxT?  And, is anyone interested in formulating a plan of action to get a Nxt Biz off the ground?  Open to all ideas...
