Can someone (lyaffe) tell me the optimal setup for a MS coin which only serves as a method to mix Nxt?  Thanks.

Nxt General Discussion / Nxt Sidechains Support
« on: December 09, 2014, 06:52:13 pm »
It would be great if we could have a small dev team reach out to BlockStream and talk to them about implementing Sidechains with Nxt.  Nxt has many advantages over BTC and we need to make it easier for BTC holders to use Nxt.  I think BlockStream would be interested in the challenge of pegging a POS and one of the top Alts.  Ethereum will have Sidechains support, I think it's very important that we do as well (if it's possible).  I'd be interested to hear others opinions on this and also if anyone is up to the task.

Old Nxt Promotion Topics / Nxt Community page on Linkedin
« on: July 31, 2014, 03:38:13 pm »
Not sure who would handle this, but I thought it would be a good idea to start a Nxt Community Linkedin Page where we can post updates on Nxt Client and Development.  We could join the big "Java" developer groups as well as more specific groups like Agile, Scala, Haskell, etc...

https://www.linkedin.com/groups/Java-Developers-70526 - Java Developer group with 250k members
https://www.linkedin.com/groups/Agile-Lean-Software-Development-37631 - Agile group with 65k members
https://www.linkedin.com/groups/Scala-enthusiasts-746917 - Scala group with 13k members
https://www.linkedin.com/groups?home=&gid=81034 - Haskell group 6k members

There are dozens of Linkedin groups we can join and post updates on development and link articles like Kushti's post on Shareholder voting.  There are a large % of developers who only go to Linkedin, and don't bother with Twitter, Facebook, etc..  I think it would be a great idea to take advantage of the fact that we are written in Java and developed in an Agile environment.  We can attract a lot of smart people to help contribute as well as new community members.

Infrastructure Fund Committee / Transparent Forging Algorithm
« on: March 26, 2014, 04:22:09 am »
This was posted by mczarnek on BTT main thread.  If it turns out to be a working model, we should give him a bounty.

This is how you do transparent forging in a very secure, deterministic, random, efficient manner:

Nxt donations appreciated, I could use the money: 12612918384893932957

I think we should have mtchl or zahlen review the algorithm and distribute a bounty, it could be a big break through.

Marketplace / Digital Goods Store Info
« on: March 24, 2014, 04:34:35 pm »
Would love to hear from CFB (or anyone who has info) here on how the Digital Goods Store will function. Will it be a trust-less application? Will it utilize AE or AM?  Looking forward to it!
