 Thanks for your help. The address the 3 transactions were sent to is:  NXT-ZC8U-L55N-RBLN-4WD3R  It is currently near the bottom of the first page of the block chain link provided in this thread.

Hello,
 I see the transactions now. They went to another account that does not exist until now. So am I correct in assuming if you make any mistake it typing in 12 words that you cannot see or review allows you to enter an account that does not exist yet and send payments. Is there no errorproofing at all? If this is the case I am no longer interested in NXT.

Hello,
 I sent up a new account and downloaded the blockchain and the nxt wallet. I sent 3 small deposits ( just under 3000 total ). They all arrived fine and were in my account. 5 minutes later the balance was gone and there is no record of these anywhere now. I made another deposit of 1 and it is now in my account. I checked the blockchain link in this forum and there is only record of the transaction for the 1 nxt. I used the random generated 12 word paraphase and my personal phrase is from a song I made up and would not be common at all including not real words.
