IGNIS / Re: Changelly exchange failure
« on: February 29, 2020, 10:47:02 am »
So finally after another 2 weeks that was resolved, but only after I reminded them again. It seems the Ardor/Changelly API wasn't working as it should, on whatever end that might had failed. Taking longer than 2-3 days to fix the trade is unacceptable. I also had to accept a worse exchange rate and of course BTC is much lower than it was 3 weeks ago. This sucks. I'll never trade with Changelly again.

The entry in the "My Exchanges" list was already gone after the next login to the wallet. I gave them the API key, hope it helps.
I changed the subject of this thread from scamming to failure...

IGNIS / Re: Changelly exchange failure

Did that. Apparently support does not know about the Ardor platform's Exchange tool, they wanted to know some Changelly  account history, which of course I don't have. All I could provide was some screenshots with the transaction from within the Ardor platform. Changelly now wants to know the Changelly transaction ID, which of course I don't have because I used the Ardor platform's Exchange tool. So where do I find that ID? The Ardor platform must have created some. Also, how did it submit the BTC withdrawal wallet address?

IGNIS / Changelly exchange failure
« on: February 16, 2020, 01:49:28 pm »
Because IGNIS doesn't trade at any other exchange I'm at, I used the Ardor platform's exchange functionality to exchange IGNIS to BTC at Changelly over a week ago. IGNIS were transferred successfully to Changelly's account but BTC did not arrive at the wallet I gave. Is that a general scam? I guess my "wealth" is lost. I should had known better and traded IGNIS into ARDR first and then trade those at a better place.

I don't think it's too strict. New users should be forced to use a strong passphrase.

Nxt Client Helpdesk / Ardor: 17/1951 up-to-date peers, connected to 8
« on: January 12, 2018, 12:02:46 am »
WTF is going on, there are over 1900 peers with application red question marks in the peers list and many other nodes aren't updating from 2.0.10 or 2.0.11 to 2.0.12. Are those question marks light clients? Most have only the CS service, but not all. Dynamic IP users that accumulate over time? I had only 8 connected peers, manually added another 3 v2.0.12 nodes.
By the way, each time Connect is clicked the list jumps back to the top, which is annoying.

Cool  8)

how to i get all these ignis and ardor coins. sorry if i sound really stupid..: )
Yes you sound really stupid. Specifically because right after the posting above that says
download, install and run the Ardor client, open your account with ARDOR-... instead of NXT-... and enter your NXT account passphrase and that's it.

That makes sense, thanks.

BITSWIFT / Re: Welcome to Bitswift

I saw it on main net, not on testnet.
However, my question was why the balance was >0 and what the key was to distribute Bitswift coins.

gpg: Can't check signature: public key not found
You need to import the key 0xC654D7FCFF18FD55 used for signing:
Code: [Select]
curl https://www.jelurida.com/sites/default/files/jelurida.gpg | gpg --import

Trading & Exchanges / Re: Best way to cash out Ignis currently?
« on: January 07, 2018, 09:14:58 pm »
If you had a NXT account and held NXT during the snapshot then you already have IGNIS, just look at your corresponding Ardor account, either with the Ardor client or at https://ardor.tools/ and select Transactions for IGNIS chain.

Works perfectly well for everyone else. Same passphrase for the ARDOR-... account as for the NXT-... account.

This release blacklists peers older than 2.0.10, and adds a checkpoint at
height 6000.
Good, tried to do that blacklisting manually before, thanks.

After restart currently connected to 8 of 0/64 up-to-date peers... at least those are running v2.0.10 now.
Still ~54 question marks in the peers list.

If you don't have a clue what it roughly was so you could "brute-force" the unknowns then there's nothing you can do.

Both Nxt and Ardor clients run fine for me using Java 1.8.0_151, even OpenJDK. You seem to use Windows, maybe Java 32-bit, try Java 64-bit. Or replace your existing NXT db (if that is what is corrupted, check the nxt.log mentioned) with a copy from https://www.jelurida.com/NXT-nxt_db.zip

There's a difference between "a couple" and the informal use of "a couple of ..."
See also https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/21480/is-couple-ever-used-in-the-sense-of-some and https://xkcd.com/1070/ ;)

Anyway, a NXT or ARDOR passphrase certainly should not be shorter than 42 characters. Or even twice that much.

How about searching the forum before posting?

Why is there a BITSWIFT chain on Ardor already with a balance >0?
This was probably testnet you were looking at.
No, it's on main net with Ardor v2.0.10
