Nxt Helpdesk / Running nxt and ardor client on one machine?
« on: November 10, 2018, 09:12:50 pm »
Hi everyone,

I am currently running one node for nxt and one for ardor on one Raspberry pi each. With the now upcoming very interesting new currencies like e. g. Ria, it seems to be inefficient, to buy and set up a new Raspberry each time, I want to set up a new node, especially since the nxt-based clients are not very resource-intensive. My question now would be, if it is possible, to run multiple clients on the same machine and how to realize opening the corresponding wallets, since the adress of the localhost is the same for nxt and ardor. Maybe it could be done with setting up one virtual machine for each client? I hope this makes at least some sense for y'all  ;D, I am looking forward to your suggestions.

Nxt Helpdesk / OK to use "old" blockchain?
« on: January 13, 2015, 11:55:24 am »
I just updated to client version 1.4.8. To avoid having to wait so long for the download of the blockchain, I imported the next_db folder from the previous version Everything is running fine, but now I read that the update is because a hard fork at block 330,000. Is it a problem to use the blockchain from the old version or do I have to delete it and download it again?

Trading & Exchanges / Re: DGEX down?

I don't know what happened with coinex.pw (are you an employee pimping it?) but I am not elusive somehow.
Read up what DGEX has done for NXT if you don't know and come then back to judge me.

No, surely not an employee of coinex which is, by the way, past it's pimping days  ;D if I dare say so...

Anyhow, Graviton: I surely appreciate what you and DGEX have done for NXT and I was so far very satisfied with the DGEX services. It's just that I find it more than a bit unsettling if an exchange which I trust with my money (as insignificant as the sums involved may seem) goes offline without a proper announcement and a statement concerning the reason for and the duration of the downtime. It would be my suggestion for the improvement of DGEX managment, to implement a customer information strategy which could be helpful in so many ways. I have seen that DGEX is online again, however there's nothing more current as the 5th of January (e.g. the NXT/BTC price chart). The problems with my DGEX account I have sent to you via the support form and I hope you can look into it and resolve the issue soon.

Yeah, well, I sent some NXT from my DGEX account to my wallet two days before on the 1st of January... the transaction has not been processed and the NXT did not arrive in my account... also I had a buying order for some more NXT which was only processed partially... Now all I know about the whereabouts of my NXT and BTC is, that the owner of the exchange in question is in the process of "shifting business emphasis" and seems to be elusive somehow... Might there be happening something like with coinex.pw?

Is it only me who can't reach DGEX since this morning or is this a general problem? Everytime I try, I get an error message which says that the website has generated too many redirects and can't be reached... I already tried emptying the cookies as suggested and tried to navigate to the site from another machine but the results are not different... Anyone got a clue?
