Auto Adjusting Custom Bundler

A custom bundler or script that will take the aggregate of multiple exchanges and automatically adjust the bundler based on current exchange rates. It can also have a setting to factor in a profit of X% compared to current exchange rates and the option to auto restart if the node crashes or needs to be updated.

Pay for time in a space app

We need a way to use tokens as representation of time and space.  This is for a co-workspace where people pay by the hour to use small offices and common rooms.  The app would allow people to purchase time credits, and then to pick which area / room of the building they are going to be in.  Then depending what room they have selected, deplete their credits on account.  When credits are depleted the tenant would need to purchase more.
Example: 1 credit = 1 hour in common room or .5 hour in the private room.
When credits are depleted an admin gets a notification so admin (front desk) can get the user in the building to purchase more credits (or kick them out if they are not paying)

Could also be used for hotels, parking, theme parks, etc

Another idea

Chrome/Firefox Blockchain Website Extension

Upload html/css/js files to the data cloud and combine this with the alias feature to point to the files.
Then have a browser extension be able to load these website when you enter the alias as a url like: ignis://webpage1
The extension should be able to randomly pick a public API load, or have the option to point to a custom node url

Marketplace Interface

  • A web interface, but a similar look/feel as sites like eBay and Amazon so the navigation is familiar to users.
  • You login with only your accountID (or better yet, an alias your account has)
  • When you want to purchase something, it creates the unsigned transaction and you use your phone to scan a QR code (or using deeplinks on mobile) that will sign and broadcast the purchase (similar workflow as 2FA so it should be familiar to users).  So you never need to enter your passphrase in the site
  • The interface show who users' feedback from past purchases/sells on the marketplace and allow feedback to be placed the same way as a purchase using unsigned transaction
  • Using a contract like the identity verification ones from the hackathon, users can connect their accounts to social media accounts to try and have more credibility
  • A bonus would be a chome/firefox extension that allows signing of transactions with it so you don't even need a mobile device if you didn't want to use one
  • Make it transparent to users that the interface creates multiple marketplace listings for items with multiple shipping costs and/or options (On the blockchain there are multiple marketplace listings for the item, but in the interface it shows as one item with multiple options)

Other ideas to consider"
  • Users get feedback from only verified users and the primary feedback number is based off unique accounts only (since accounts can give feedback for any number of purchases from another account)
  • Separate feedback as a seller and as a buyer?
  • Buying fee for unverified accounts?  Maybe 5% that either gets burned or goes to the seller, to encourage verified users
  • Verified sources for accounts must be unique (we don't want 10 ardor accounts being verified using the same twitter handle)
  • Bonus if the html/css/js could be on the blockchain

Don't you have to include
Code: [Select]
WHERE LATEST=TRUE in your SQL statement?
I will try to check this later too

Edit: I believe this is the correct SQL statement:
Code: [Select]
SELECT SUM(balance)/100000000 FROM ACCOUNT WHERE LATEST=TRUE AND balance > 0
You are including old account balances in your statement and the negative genesis account.  My SQL statement gives me 998,899,389.19735073 which looks correct since some NXT was burned to the genesis account.

I'm not sure if this exactly fits in this category, but is still a great idea.

A second layer for the coin exchange
Problem this solves: Currently there are fees to create and remove open orders.  Also, orders have to wait for a block to be accepted, which takes an average of 60 seconds.

Current thoughts:
Some sort of program to run alongside Ardor nodes and will need it's own client or integration with current clients.
This program will store limit orders in memory or a flat file DB.  That way it is free to open and close the orders.  Only matching orders are submitted to the blockchain using the Ardor node running on that same server.

Possible issues:
Race conditions when multiple orders are submitted very close together and making sure all nodes agree who was first, second, etc.
Must be able to correctly recover from a crash or restart.  It should know of other 2nd layer nodes so it can resync from them and verify against.

An idea for the Voting system:

User creates a new account in a custom app for the voting. There's a button to register the account for voting (this is the KYC step where any verification can be sent to the entity). Once verified the entity sends the necessary asset or sets the Account Property for shuffling and voting. The user doesn't see any of that technical stuff, just a check that says "verified". Then when they are verified there is a button to register, behind the scenes this has that account join the necessary shuffling.
Once registration is closed, shuffling happens and then voting is open (behind the scenes the new shuffling account is used from now on and unlocked using the original account's private key. It can be listed in the GUI as the voting number maybe).
When a user votes it is labeled as submitted but really just sent to the entity's node waiting to be broadcasted at a set block. Once the block is reached, transactions are broadcasted, voting is closed, and users can check their votes using their voting number. (If voting is limited to only accounts with a set Account Property, maybe remove this property from any accounts that haven't voted to be safe)

  • App should be open source
  • Receipt of vote should be sent to voter for proof
  • Votes wait in a dB on the entity's node(s)
  • Maybe use account properties after shuffling. Only accounts that came out of the shuffling can vote and they are tagged with an account property
  • Use the app to access the cloaked account so the user doesn't have to worry about a 2nd passphrase
    • First account uses bip39 to generate passphrase
    • Second account uses hash of 1st account passphrase

Thank You

That address has 76 JLRDA on the AE.  These are fake/scam JLRDA tokens, so you can just ignore them.
The address also has 7'656.2952 of the JLRDA currency (ID: 823491988455668070), this is the actual token and what matters.  So your account looks all good for the airdrop.

@ErwinSchmidt  You have the same thing.  IGNORE all JLRDA tokens on the AE, as they are fake.  What matters is what you have in "My Currencies"

But, If you have 100 graphics cards bruteforce is possible; english vocabulary wordlist, mix up 12 words and post for secretPhrase.
After you can check(accountRS-Is there such an account or not?) in the nxtportal, demo.nxt.org or local client.
I can write a very efficient bot script to test.

You can try to bruteforce it :)  The wordlist is 1626 words.  So using 12 of those words at random, means there are 3.415438700282 * 10^38 possibilities

why would anyone still want to hold nxt instead of ardor?  ???

Don't forget, if anyone uses the NXT creation kit to make their own public blockchain using NXT technology, all NXT holders will get 10% of the new coin based on their balance.

Why doesn't JeanLuc mirror the binaries to his repository for the next version or two?  It's easy and should help slackers get on the newer version with the updated links.

I would prefer they ease into it instead of just listing it all in one sell order for the round.  What if another whale found another loophole and buys all the 0.55 NXT/JANUS?  Maybe instead of every 12 hours, we do a third of amount of orders as the last round and do them every 36 hours.  If all goes well, then do the rest in one sell for each of the last rounds.

You can also use `screen` it's a very handy little program for things like this :)

Were there any statements from the dev team as to future plans for NXT itself? I seem to recall that there was a stated minimum period for which the NXT blockchain would be maintained, of at least 1 year, if I recall, but that future beyond that was subject to how well the IGNIS sale went. I am not sure where I read this, but the impression I got was that NXT will have a future of some kind. Perhaps i should look harder, but if anyone can point me to the official statements about the future of NXT it's appreciated!
