Pub crawl / Bitcoin mp3 course - where did I see it?
« on: June 23, 2014, 08:07:07 am »
I was about to listen to that bitcoin course someone had on his page. I can't find it now, who knows what I am talking about?

It was a member here, I think. He had a link to his website where a bitcoin training is hosted in mp3. Who can help me pointing out who that was?

Why are you stepping out?
How would you suggest to continue then? We all want MGW, right?

Hi!

Well, if you're doing it, it is useless to do it myself too. So, how should we continue?
If you've got nothing yet, I can start with it and post it here so anyone can comment on it and it can be enhanced by all of us.

Let me know plz

No, I don't want to wait.

I just start. With your help, of course :)

If I create this text and it is suitable enough, this website guy can simply use it. Wouldn't that be nice?

I'll start a MGW documentation thread, and there I can start and you guys can help me out writing the thing.

All for the greater good :)

Darn, the more I read, the more questions I have.

Is there a bounty for someone who writes MGW for Dummies? :-D

I would start right away.

I already found some article here, and this is exactly what I mean. Too technical and detailed, and I don't understand a thing. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Am I stupid? Probably, but if things need to grow big, we need a lot of people starting to use NXT, and these people are mostly like me: Stupid.
So let a stupid guy write a guide then.

am trying to read about the MGW and understand it. But my main question keeps being:

What is this gateway doing for me? I mean, I have some BTC, Doge and NXT. Now, when the MGW is online. What can I actually DO with it?

There are details everywhere, but not a concise (Wiki) web page or something, explainig things for a layman like me.

Ah, you've editted your post. 'That's not fair!

:)

Now, what I understand that is that it can't be more then three, because the multisig technology implies 3 servers. If I understand correctly.

Can we also buy NXT with Micoins on the MGW?

:)

Yes, I think it's not correct and old information. I was just checking, so I am sure about I understand it.

". jl777 originally planned 100 servers but there will be a bootstrapping phase to get up to this."

So, initially there are three servers, but this will be up to many? Can someone confirm? This is the only time I read that.
