If I understand correctly, the XORA name is lost, alas- but that is a small issue, another name can be chosen.

Yes, ORA 'lives' on the NXT blockchain & I actually created the 'XORA' MS currency a couple of days ago.

What happened previously was Darkhorse registered 'XOR' on our behalf, and we obviously can't use that now that DH has vanished. The fee for 'XORA' as a 4-char MS name was only 1,000 NXT, but the 3-char fee for 'XOR' was 25,000 NXT. I did consider the 25K NXT was a loss initially, but I'm actually not bothered by it now. My reasoning is we can still use 'XOR' for our ticker on exchanges, and I actually like 'XORA' as the name, so we can still use both.

If we assume that 'XORA' MS is successful and does eventually achieve the status of 'default' NXT 'shuffle' MS, then it would be wise for us to secure both versions of the name to avoid a malevolent entity trying to confuse people with a similar sounding name, as has occurred with many assets. I think to be safe we would have needed to register 'XOR' and 'XORA' eventually anyway, so I don't feel out of pocket over the 'XOR' fee, and in many ways 'XORA' is the better sounding version of the two as it includes 'ORA', which I consider to be the name of the project.

I'm still hoping (and praying) that DH is OK, and I don't discount the possibility that he may come back and help us at some later date. Life can sometimes become so overwhelming that a person has to literally drop everything and retreat. If that's what happened with DH then I understand. After I was hacked in January I literally went mad for 10 days, then dropped 99% of all PC and internet use for a further 6-7 weeks, so for over 2 months I was out of commission. DH may have suffered a similar melt down after the flooding he experienced, and for some reason isn't able to get a message to us. It is good that we're moving on, but I have no bad feeling towards DH at all.

What should we do with mic and ora assets?

KORA you may send the XORA to it.

Since account control (multi-signature wallets) is not yet available, the current ORA treasurers (fragora, pilot and me) will share the private key of the treasury account. This will avoid that the funds get locked up forever in the case I should get hit by a bus.

Once the treasury gets the currency XORA from Kora, we will set up a another account to redeem MIC and ORA assets. And of course, the first step in the redemption process will be to honor with XORA currency all of those pleople who already sent ORA and MIC assets to Darkhorse. Please, stay tuned.

Ok, I've transferred all 1 billion XORA to the new ORA treasury account, plus 2,000 NXT to help cover tx fees for a while. I'll top that up again when it gets low.

Hi guys!! I wish you all the best for this coin-shuffle tech.

But this are my thoughts on the topic. I am not a developer so forgive me if I say silly things.

I made a little research on the so called "anon coin" and here is what I found out:

1) One of the best are Boolberry (http://boolberry.com/) and Dashcoin (http://dashcoin.net/). What do they have in common? They use CryptoNote tech (https://cryptonote.org/). So I suggest Nxt Dev to integrate that tech to the main code.

2) If you want to adopt the shuffle method I suggest to look at Anoncoin (https://www.anoncoin.net/). What  is the underline tech? Zerocoin (https://wiki.anoncoin.net/Zerocoin)

So I don't get the point of distribute these XORA tokens to some users...

If you want to become the "official shuffle coin" and Nxt Dev agreed on that, I would like to see on the main wallet a tag that says "anonimize" and after a warning message and the transaction fee just do the job.

No need for me as a user to go to the Monetary System "exchange booth". Otherwise I will just choose the SuperNet client and use BitcoinDark (http://bitcoindark.pw/bitcoindark-and-nxt-1-0-vs-2-0/).

If these tokens have to be somewhere, they should be in a "genesis block account" like. Not distributed.

The XORA Dev should be then compensated with a NXT bounty, of corse.
