Some geeky trivia about MGW:
[geektalk]
search_hashtable  ave 1.552 numsearches.3200000 numiterations.4965253

Even with optimizing out most of the required accesses via two level cache, it still did 3.2 million hashtable lookups, but it only took an average of 1.552 iterations per search. That means it either directly found the item or it was in the next slot, 99% of the time!

I was a bit concerned about large scale usage as I just randomly picked some hash function, but it seems to be working acceptable.

It's a shame that MGW is still under construction. MGW has great potential but you won't be able to outrun centralized exchanges with such unpredictable blackouts. JL777 please invest in more support engineers and coders, do not do everything by yourself.

I asked for help two days before DGS block. still downtime was around one day. I am eager to have others deal with MGW operations. I am not sure what more I can do other than have the production server triplet handled by others, uMGW teams dealing with new coins. I am not doing GUI, or documentation or support.

I have been trying to recruit an MGW coder, but not even one applicant.
Saying dont do everything yourself is very easy, finding other qualified people not so easy

Can you find me an MGW coder?

I am pretty sure TechDev would finance a MGW dev, amount depends on what exactly will be done

I made a withdrawal about 0.2 BTC (transaction 6819909642450271047) 2.5 hours ago. I used NRS 1.2.5 and MGW 1.4.1 - how long will it take to be processed? Especially since I read the following post:

MGW is back up and caught up

Please wait a little bit more for latest mgw release, those who use old version of mgw will have hard time withdrawing to their wallet

The problem in old mgw version is your withdraw address is not include in the asset transfer tx, you would need to prove your ownership on the nxt address and provide a valid withdraw address to james, and i believe he need to do some manual work behind the scene.

Sorry for the inconvenience causes

Hey longzai, can you please look up a withdrawal I made? I can't remember to which BTC address I withdrew it!

My NXT account:  NXT-NPJS-GHPB-6MTG-BL4Y8
Amount BTC: 0.1 BTC
Time: about 5-6 hours ago?

Can't find the address and currently have limited access to my accounts. I just need this to check that it came through fine, so that I can withdraw more. Also I might have sent it with the old version by accident!

I attempted a BTC withdrawal yesterday, tx # 13157662669111249567. Over 450 confirmations but the BTC is still not sent.

I know MGW devs/managers are very busy right now, but maybe it's useful to know about stuck withdrawals? Not hugely urgent, just trying to pick up some cheap NXT on Bter  ;D

If you have any of the above tx, it is in limbo and will not complete until I code up some sort of limbo extractor. Since that will not be for a while, what you need to do is post a NXT token from the account that made the withdraw, use the redeemtxid as the "website" and also post what BTC address you want it sent to.

post it here and it will be verified and then I will manually send BTC to the specified address. The amount in limbo will then be allowed to go back to the MGW virtual wallet
