is it possible to change the display settings so that the price of MGWbtc to NXT is displayed in BTC rather than mBTC?

It's displayed in Nxt which I will admit requires some weird mental math to figure out how to place your order and how much btc your paying. I wish this interface could be improved.
ah thanks, so that 14900 is how many nxt per 1 btc (mgwBTC)?

Yes, so to find btc you must do 1/14900 = .00006711

Basically I dont understand the pricing of mgwBTC on mgw. Current sell price of mgwBTC is 14,900

In the real world what does that figure represent?  ???

If you are selling NXT for BTC that basically means you are buying mgwBTC. If your are buying NXT with BTC that means you are selling mgwBTC. So...

Selling NXT: (buying mgwBTC so look at the sell order book)
14,900 is the current best price so do some math 1 BTC / 14,900 NXT = 0.00006711. So you would be selling NXT for 6711 sat.

Buying NXT: (selling mgwBTC so look at the buy order book)
14,200 is the current best price. 1 BTC / 14,200 NXT = 0.00007042. So you would be buying NXT at 7042 sat.

Make sense?

I think we need some kind of a ui update that makes this all more clear. Is this possible?

I think it's coming. We're all used to seeing NXT price represented like 0.00006711 (or just 6711).

Working backward is like being in the grocery store and seeing, "bananas - 590 lbs per $1000"

I think it is entirely possible for the mgw UI to show an exchange like BTC/NXT and LTC/NXT pairs UI rather than just the deposit address and withdrawal UI.  But, I doubt the normal AE UI would be modified, since it really isn't relevant.

InstantDEX
I keep saying this, InstantDEX will allow any asset <-> asset trading along with NXT and it will display either orientation

I used the MGW once when it was new just to test it and bought some mgwBTC.
Today I opened my (Browser) Client, seeing MGW isn´t installed anymore (updated consequently). So I installed LiteMGW 1.4.1

But when I open it now, it does´t find my mgw deposit Address and gets stuck in searching. I waited about 4 hours, but no Change. Where is this Address stored?

The address is in an AM in the block chain. Was your blockchain fully downloaded and your wallet showing up to date blocks?

Deposit addresses are stored in the MGW servers. However, if I'm not mistaken, longzai said the Lite MGW UI searches for messages in the Nxt blockchain to find if there's one including the deposit address returned by the MGW server when you requested it.

As Pilot suggested, a search can be stuck when communication with the blockchain has not caught up. In previous releases it also happened in low-end machines that got flooded when processing the queries, but I believe that was fixed already.

Have you tried re-starting your client once blockchain is up to date?

Actually, all you have to do to see your deposit address is go into your wallet and click "Messages" on the left side. If you've never manually sent messages you will see two. One from you to the mgw servers and one from the mgw server with your BTC address.

DGS block activated and old MGW needed to be updated. I made test release two days ago, but nobody got me any test results. I monitored some activity with new post DGS MGW, but some thing seems not quite right so I am taking MGW offline, going to get some rest and hope there will be test results tomorrow. If not it could take me half a day to get things verified as it is very time consuming to test MGW
I cannot do everything myself and when I get no test results, what am I to do?
