In the latest MGW version deposits below 0.0005 BTC minimum are ignored, and by default won't be processed; we'll update website information (and change GUI warning if needed in upcoming SuperNET release) so users won't send to MGW deposits below minimum.

If you have sent so far smaller, uncredited amounts please post here or send me a PM and I will send the mgwBTC assets (@vladimirceman91 - I'll send 0.0004+0.0002+0.00025 = 0.00085 mgwBTC your way in a few minutes).

But as first announcement - please do not send deposits below minimum to MGW because the servers will not process them.

Thank you.

I remember now why I dislike the bitcoin protocol. It just takes so long to do anything...
I must have repressed this as I totally underestimated the time this will take.
At least I am finally zeroing in on getting a simple multisg tx properly signed and already have the sync code,so I just want this to work and will make a release for testing.

wont be so user friendly, but at least we can verify it on more than just my servers and with more than one coin as I add a user friendly remote API glue, but I am needing to take a break from all this horrible bitcoin stuff soon!

Of course, the networking code from the old MGW is not working.
I was on the fence about using the SuperNET API to do the MGW <-> MGW comms, but time being a factor decided to pop in the old code.

However, now having to debug the old code or just write some new code...

So, I think better to toss out the old and write some new code, but this will take a while (1 day). good news is that doing this will actually be a useful feature for the rest of SuperNET to have.

Yes, it's been received but looks like it's not broadcasted yet. I passed the request to operators. They are between GMT-GMT+2, so now it may take a few hours but any pending transfers should go through in the morning.

Coded most of:

    static char *sendfrag[] = { (char *)sendfrag_func, "sendfrag", "V", "pubkey", "name", "fragi", "numfrags", "ipaddr", "totalcrc", "datacrc", "data", 0 };
    static char *gotfrag[] = { (char *)gotfrag_func, "gotfrag", "V", "pubkey", "name", "fragi", "numfrags", "src", "totalcrc", "datacrc", 0 };
    static char *startxfer[] = { (char *)startxfer_func, "startxfer", "V", "fname", "dest", "data", 0 };

The sendfrag and gotfrag are working and are the main send and ack back and startxfer spawns a new task that loads a file into memory and loops on sendfrag, waiting for the gotfrag, resending if nothing back some reasonable timeframe, etc.

I havent decided how to store this yet as the prime use case is for MGW signed withdraw tx, which is always in RAM, but come to think of it, I do make a backup of it, so maybe I will just make these into files on the destination side.

James

tl:dr once startxfer is debugged, I can use that to sync between the MGW servers, also this can be directly used for InstantDEX and by any SuperNET API client

Made my first mgwBTC withdraw on the production MGW, but that was 7 hours ago.
I thought with the production servers there would be no delays....

Well, TX ID is: 15206747120851088479

so sorry for delay, I decided to deprecate the old MGW <-> MGW comms and use the SuperNET methods
but it didnt directly support oversized packets
and since UDP isnt guaranteed delivery, I needed to write a layer on top that emulate the TCP, as far as retry and I will put in a bit of congestion control.
With ~250 people in Slack, it is impacting my dev schedule a bit, but I just need to put in some tracking of pending transfers and SuperNET will get TCP like transfers, except it will be connectionless. I know not exactly TCP, I will probably do that some other day to add the connections concept, but Telepathy actually kind of does this...

so, once there is a reliable way to transmit the withdraw packet, then DB MGW just calls that, signs around and submits. I cant promise to eat my hat if I dont get it done today, but I promise to think about eating my hat.

BTC withdrawals through production servers have been processed up to December 9, 6 AM. Withdrawals done afterwards are still in queue for processing.

Tonight we received from operators the first test print out of production servers status and there was a small difference in the asset/BTC balance (likely a side effect of asset/BTC migration process) which we have already fixed. Status sample:

Code: [Select]
MGW nodes/node accounts info:

Now balances match properly again. Still, one node needs a fix that should happen as soon as the operator is available and sees the report. Sorry for the inconvenience, guys. I hope in few hours the withdraws of the last day will go through.
