I had to rebuild the third server as it started getting cranky.
I hope it will finish the last few thousand blocks and catch up. Once it does, then I am pretty sure all the rest of withdraws will be processed.

have to go offline for a bit, not sure if it will complete. just too tired to stay up much longer

Just to be sure: BTC deposit is working? Do I need to install MGW 1.4.8 or it works with 1.4.5?

Good question. The software at http://multigateway.org/ still says 'beta'. I don't know if using that plugin leads to James' beta/testservers or to the new production servers that will be online soon (?) or if the transition from beta servers to production servers will be smooth and unnoticable for the user.

Personally I think I'll just wait till the production servers are up and running okay, and MGW is being promoted as 'launched' for the public.

let us wait to do any deposits
all the old deposit addresses will be obsolete, so we need the production servers and the matching GUI

Website and client still look okay, so perhaps it's likely that people not reading this topic will still use the beta MGW?

Transition to production servers should involve only two steps in the user side.

1 - Update the GUI with the version already pointing at the new servers. When it's released, the website downloads and information will be also updated immediately; we'll need people to upgrade software version as soon as possible.

2 - Request a new deposit address.

Rest assured that once the software is updated for production servers we'll update everything - forum topics and website.

Hopefully beta deposits done in the meantime by users not reading this, will not end up in limbo and create lots of manual work for James.
Else at least add 'under maintenance' for BTC too on the website?

Hopefully beta deposits done in the meantime by users not reading this, will not end up in limbo and create lots of manual work for James.

The idea was to enforce software updates in a Nxt Services Plugin release previous to the one introducing production servers, so we could already have a % of users that would have no choice but to update the software once production servers are open and the corresponding GUI is released. But this might not be possible, so we'll just announce the GUI update for production servers in our biggest neon signs when it's ready.

Basically because, as you say, deposits to old addresses after production servers are fully running will basically create manual work for James.

I cannot remember a multigateway deposit taking more than an hour before.  It has been appx. 8 hours since my withdrawal to the MGTBTC Address: 39LacGoxFvMLiK3rXdKfsUdWjK7XQi6KxY

It has 60 confirmations on Blockchain.info: https://blockchain.info/tx/85dfa2cd88092d82abe6292d75b6ed662adff967e1ae098e39c2abf65c9cfe67

Thanks
