For the benefit of anyone tracking the withdrawal problem, I was one of the first to report missing withdrawals on September 26, and still haven't received them. I will report when I do receive them.

Two of my mgwBTC withdrawals are now delayed by 208 hours (8 days 16 hours). Transaction IDs: 10698833842468636419 and 3709520954231419634.

Edit: updated delays

James, you've been reporting for a few days now that two of the three BTC servers are working. The problem is that the third keeps crashing. Since the same software is running on all three servers, it may be a hardware problem. Why not just replace the faulty server? Also, I thought the whole point of MGW was that it could function even if one of the three servers is compromised.

Two of my mgwBTC withdrawals are now delayed by 160 hours (6 days 16 hours). Transaction IDs: 10698833842468636419 and 3709520954231419634.

I am getting to that point, but it is possible that the problems were due to bugs I had while dealing with having too many tx and this corrupted some data in the cache on just one of the servers.
so I did a totally cacheless version and this is almost caught up.
if this doesnt work, then I will probably do a special version that runs on two servers
MGW is requiring all three servers to agree and it takes a special "server down" condition to manually require overriding this.

stuck in line for withdrawal about 12 hours

https://nxtblocks.info/#section/txid/13882380870973955071

Hi James,

Its been almost 48 hours and still waiting for the funds. My transfer is for 3.9 BTC and with the price of BTC going down it is already causing a loss.

With so many nXtrs in the same boat, I will be much thankful if you could look into this personally and maybe process these transactions manually.

Thanks

I agree.  James could you please process the txs manually or trigger the "server down" condition to initiate payouts.

James can you give us an ETA on BTC withdrawals being processed?  The price of BTC keeps dropping and I'm guessing the majority of us are planning to sell the BTC for fiat.  Some of us have been waiting a week.

you were one of the lucky ones!

As soon as I updated bitcoind, the mysterious crashes disappeared, but in all my trying to get things working, I had introduced a bug. [actually several iterations of bugs, fix, etc] Luckily it crashed after it sent out the batch and even recorded it on the blockchain.

   "redeems":   ["18012868213293812918", "17850665843091522447", "5367518091929625836", "10698833842468636419", "3709520954231419634", "17756615019036468931", "1377570613671922302", "11216020719769436505", "4536820520574248760", "1726627746411273772", "8444607710286649226", "7942006562702961293", "3965154387168484586", "13882380870973955071", "7446170061506132826", "11490956104839622575", "1423932192", "53387808"]

If your redeem is not in the above list, it will have to wait a bit more, but now that it looks like the non-MGW issues are finally fixed, it should just be a matter of letting the servers catchup like normal.

In order to prevent any buffer overflows, I limit each batch to 16 withdraws, which is usually plenty, but I think there are around 75. Anyway, there was a data structure that assumed the number of redeems matched the number of outputs, but when there are multiple withdraws to the same address this is not true and usually this is harmless. Of course when everything is max'ed out, it matters a lot.

I need to go over the code again to make sure there are no more unexpected buffer size issues. At least I am finally able to debug MGW code. It was quite frustrating to have it keep crashing at random places and it seems to be some sort of issue with the bitcoind?

I withdrew some mgwBTC on 28/09, hasn't arrived yet. I'll just wait, you're good for it! :)

second batch went out:

,"9038564759832932314","6980445899310867288","1900124901467231752","8126492801328375509","9532161957783424256","13122157053667789608","10729876664729894841","10429439875324934396","1499602741002234912","17974676212827597077","4494454457830040088","15886862126856262243","4511100430257282839","7371233917921927754"

this time it found another bug due to the >100 BTC requiring almost 100 inputs and this just happened to fit in the buffer with one set of sigs, but when the second set of sigs are added, it didnt fit. I made it so it uses an allocated buffer in this case.

If anything, all these extreme amounts of withdraws and unspent outputs is creating test cases that were not feasible to create during testing, so I am starting the next batch with these fixes soon. Let's hope for smooth processing!
