Thank you guys for your patience and sorry about the delay in this batch from yesterday. Withdraws are being processed and all seems good (just some babysitting needed) and today I'm on a trip with roaming signal, but we'll catch up today completely step by step - the redeems left need to go through in small batches and then no issues arise.

You're welcome. There's only a last pending BTCD redeem and barely any old assets should be still hanging around.

Multigateway Service Note: We're currently finishing some updates in the servers so everything is checked and ready for the incoming Nxt hard fork. This entails frequent server restarts and occasionally some down time, and although we'll try to keep all the coin operations processed as soon as possible, there might be small delays in deposits and withdraws. I'll post an update once all updates are finished. Apologies for any inconveniences caused.

Update: The BTCD/VRC/OPAL MGW servers are temporarily on hold. BTC/LTC/DOGE work normally.

New update: chanc3r identified the one remaining issue to process correctly the new encoded MGW messages to fit the new AM size limits, and the final patch should be applied tomorrow. So BTCD/VRC/OPAL triplet should be back online tomorrow in the afternoon and the BTC/LTC/DOGE triplet will be fully updated in the evening.

Yet another update: Developers are still working in the code. BTCD triplet stays on hold because it's better not to start it over completely until the patch is completely debugged.

...well, it took a little longer than expected and more work than anticipated for chanc3r and me, but we finally have a Nxt 1.7 compliant MGW server code running :)

The BTCD/VRC/OPAL triplet is back online and all checked for the incoming fork, including a new message codec that will keep the deposit messages in MGW asset transfers compliant with the size requirements of 1.7.

We're stopping now the BTC/LTC/DOGE triplet to apply the working patches and updates, and it should be back online later tonight.

Also in the next hours Tosch will post a minor release for the SuperNET Lite client that will reduce the syntax in the messages sent for withdraws to the smallest length, so withdraw fees paid by users in the Nxt side remain as low as possible. Note that updating to this release will not be mandatory, but it will save the users a few NXT when they request MGW withdraws.

Edit: BTC triplet updated and back in sync.

I have a silly question. I am new to Supernet.. I just bought some stake a few weeks ago.

Is the multigateway eventually going to be used as a decentralized exchange? I am for some reason not able to pull up the mgwBTC (or the superBTC) assets up in the advanced panel. Are they active for trading, or can you only store, send or receive coins stored in the multigateway?

Think of the multigateway not as a decentralized exchange per se, but as a way to get Bitcoin and other coins into the Nxt Asset Exchange, where you can trade them against NXT in a fully decentralized way. So yes you can store, send and receive the coins supported by MGW, but then you can also trade superCOIN assets in the corresponding AE trade pairs, like any other Nxt asset. For this you can log in to your SuperNET/Nxt account using the Nxt Client and trade the superCOIN assets normally.

The other option to trade is using the "Advanced" tab in the SuperNET Lite client, which will open a new window with a Lite version of the Nxt client where you have your assets and the Asset Exchange tab available. However, this Advanced tab seems to need a few fixes for the Nxt 1.7 network, which will be addressed when Tosch has time available for it. In the meantime, a new SuperNET Lite release will be posted today to bring back the main dashboard to full operational state - right now 2.0.7 does not submit properly withdraws due to required changes in requests format after the fork.

Before the hard fork, when I withdrew superBTC, I sent them to NXT-8RQH-HFUP-3AJ9-E2DB9 with a non-prunable public message attached to the transfer:

{"withdrawaddr":"17yE5zA2K3F4KTFNGUbuyfXiZiWTkE1Yrv"}

Will this still work?

Yes. Actually the new SuperNET Lite release that should be posted soon enforces this syntax, to keep withdraw messages short and Nxt fees as low as the BTC address length allows for. But manual withdraws from Nxt client work as you suggest, i.e.

1) Send your superBTC/superBTCD/etc. assets to the MGW central account, NXT-8RQH-HFUP-3AJ9-E2DB9
2) Include a non-prunable message with the string {"withdrawaddr":"DESTINATION_ADDRESS"} replacing DESTINATION_ADDRESS with the address where you want your coins sent to.

Service Note: The BTC/DOGE/LTC triplet is tonight under maintenance. A large batch of BTC withdraws hit a spot that still needs a fix in the server code, requiring careful manual processing of the operations queue. We'll report back as soon as service is synced up and current, apologies for the inconvenience.

Update: One of the servers requires an update from the hoster, so some of the pending operations, including queued withdraws, will be processed tomorrow once the issue is solved.

All BTC operations are almost caught up, after fixing a large withdraws queue and reinstalling a server due to hoster issues. This evening DOGE and LTC will be caught up as well.

I see it was delivered a bit ago. Maybe a little hiccup...

Not sure if I understand your questions... how mgwBTC is attached to the SuperNET Lite multiwallet? mgwBTC is the old asset that was phased out last year, the BTC balance in SuperNET Lite represents superBTC. If you still hold a small amount of mgwBTC, contact me by PM and we'll look into doing a swap for the new superBTC.

And you say you sent mgwBTC to an external Bitcoin wallet. How did you send it? The current MGW does not handle mgwBTC assets anymore.
