No, the new BTC servers are running recent bitcoind versions (0.10) unaffected by the fork issues. The code updates I referred to are in the SuperNET side, specifically the database code.

For whoever is interested in trying them, the new BTC+LTC+DOGE MGW servers are back online after updates and fixes.

Probably not many days left before new client is ready, but if you want to test manually the new gateways you can find a simple MGW Testing document in SuperNET Slack, #testing-mgw.

Due to server migration of one of the mgwBTC nodes to a new machine, some of the sent deposits and requested withdrawals will be queued today until the new server is up and running. The triplet should be back in sync this evening, we'll post a notification as soon as the service is synced up again.

Not serious. But I made a mistake believing this statement about how fast Bitcoin core client has become for initial bootstrapping, and lost a bunch of hours until it's obvious that it was going to take much longer than expected. So I cloned over the blockchain from another server and the mgwBTC triplet has just been started again, now syncing up. Your withdraw will be processed in a few hours.

If this was a server migration in the new superBTC triplet, it would have been sent already... I wish we could start to move over BTC to the new servers because they've been running perfect for another week, but I suppose we need the new client to be released. Hopefully it won't take long.

One server is finishing initialization after I found it stuck this morning. This is the server that processes deposits for that address, so the deposit will be processed once it catches up completely with BTC blockchain. Only 160 bitcoin blocks to go now, so it will be there very soon.

As I have said before, I do follow server status daily, even holidays. But full startup takes 7-9 hours depending on the node, plus a crash may happen while I am asleep. So delays up to half day can happen in case of deposits, and in exceptional cases withdraws can take a little longer than that when two servers chain restarts one after the other and triplet consensus happens after 2x restart time. I'm sorry but I cannot make these servers go faster.

Hi, sorry I missed this, roaming around during the weekend. Everything is current now, maybe in the last couple days things took a little longer but all pending operations have been cleared.

Some months ago, I used Multigateway in order to exchange some bitcoins to nxt. It took some time, but finally the operation completed smoothly.
I'm trying to run the same operation now, but I've tried twice to generate a mgwBTC Deposit address but it seems that I can't get one.
It's been over 24 hours since the first try.

The transaction ID are:
89805963310614xxxx
15297894781315xxxx

I'm using Supernet 1.5.12.1 I've cleared the browser cache.
Am I doing something wrong?

Hello Jose,

searching in the servers the Nxt address you sent the two requests from (NXT-7...-...-...-...DRZ) I'm seeing it has an associated BTC multisig deposit address already, 38DE6zFvqNbf6pkfwSah4JoQ89d3KzGpkY

This address was used months ago, as you say, to deposit BTC in the mgwBTC servers. And since servers haven't changed, the deposit addresses do not change either, so you can use it to deposit BTC again if you want. The mgwBTC will be delivered to the same Nxt account.

What is strange is that the SuperNET 1.5.12.1 client does not find that deposit address in the blockchain, and does not display it properly for you. Sadly, it looks like longzai1988 is not developing this client anymore, nor offering user support. Tosch110 is the new developer for the SuperNET v2 client, he's picked up this week where longzai left it and is getting a new version ready, including all the SuperNET core coins, BTC, LTC and DOGE in a multi-wallet layout that uses the new Multigateway servers. The beta release for this is imminent and will allow for BTC migration to new servers to start.

But of course if you want to use the current mgwBTC market you can deposit BTC to the address I pasted above. The superBTC market, with the new assets handled by SuperNET MGW servers, will still take a little time to get some movement.
