Nxt & SuperNET Summer Festival:

http://nxter.org/nxt-supernet-barbecue-festival-crowdfunding/
"We are organising a crowdfunding campaign to determine the level of interest in the community and therefore the likely size of the event."

I dont know how to organise partys but i get headaches from only reading this.
Its hilarious that barbecue sounds more complicated than the manual of a freaking space ship.  :D

Welcome to crypto  ;D

I'll set up another landingpage and restructure the info. For now, the ANN is also published in French, and German is on its way.  :)

FYI:

Sorry, I'm in the moment very very busy for my real life job. Much opportunities and I have to manage huge projects (more than 100k € projects).
I have to create a new company (cooperative enterprise) with employees, bigger as the actual "Plaisir & Valeur d'histoire". I don't have to find work and money only for me, but I have to take care of the revenue of more people as only one. My professional situation from the start of Nxt changes for the best but for more work and less time.
The success came by surprise and I have to manage it quickly.

Right now I'm overstrain and I've to slow my inessential activities: Nxt is one of it.

Consequences :
- I didn't see much enthusiasm about the Nxt BBQ. The financial/credibility risk for me is to big. The SuperNET and Nxt Foundation can't really help me. The conjuncture (low price of NXT and BTC, SuperNET is always in development) is really bad to organise an Event.
I cancel the big event proposition,
[English: http://nxter.org/nxt-supernet-barbecue-festival-crowdfunding/, French: http://nxter.org/fr/nxt-supernet-barbecue-festival-crowdfunding/, German: http://nxter.org/de/nxt-supernet-barbecue-festival-crowdfunding/]
but I propose a "simple" BBQ on 1st August on the lake side. It's the same as the first BBQ in Summer 2014.

This solution is easier and cheaper. I can accommodate in my flat 6 peoples for free and we pay only for the food and drink.

- I quit the NXTER MAGAZINE core team. As planned before, MrCluster87 takes the management of NXTER.ORG. I can help him until the 15th May.
The French editor is already known as Hachoir.

If I have inspiration and time, I'll write some articles but it'll be rare...

- I always believe in Nxt. I continue to follow the news but I can't be active in the community. I can't manage anymore the French Community.

BUT I continue to manage the French community fund until a organized and serious group asks for it.
AND you can continue to contact me at ludom[at]nxter.org
If needed, I can always help promptly the community. I'll have a discussion with Damelon to explain how I can help.

I'm always a Nxter!

I'm sorry to quite as abrutly but it's important for my health and my career.

We're sorry too. Ludom has been with NXTER.ORG since the beginning, in June 2014, and done many good things for the community.

MrCluster87 has taken over as NXTER.ORG's accountant and business manager. You may already know him from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hA50QLjsMFk&list=PLrOqCck6qd3Zwpq31TtCPSzv4pIV3fws1. Mr Cluster graduated in november 2014 in Economics and Business Administration (BSc) in Italy.

The NXTER.ORG core team is now:
apenzl (admin, octopus)
oldnbold (English editor)
Hachoir (French editor)
MrCluster87 (accountant, business manager)

NXTER.ORG is: Everyone from the community who wants to write, promote Nxt, and contribute to building the project (for profit sharing assets). Make contact to get an invitation to the backend. :)

How are things going with nxter.org on the business side with the restructuring?

MrCluster has now taken over 100% from Ludom and we have great plans too, of course. ;)
His business plan (1st part) is linked from this OP @ https://nxtforum.org/nxter-org/accounting-7309/

I'll write a bigger update tomorrow/Wednesday, I've been pretty busy getting this made, printed and shipped in time for PayExpo2015 :) :

Take'em with storm!  ;D

Mini magazines are on their way to your London address, Bas!

12 pages, read them here:

Crosspost from "accounting":

OP is updated with MrCluster87's accounting for June. Dividends will be paid in a few days.

29333,33 NXT will be paid to NXTP hodlers this month. We've rented a secure VPS at a good price with https://www.badass.sx and now have a Nxt node running @ 94.102.50.75. EmoneyRu will maintain it, thanks a lot! Also the website will be moved to this server when the NXTER Magazine redesign is finished (we're now waiting for the designer to get home from http://www.roskilde-festival.dk  ;) ), and with the new design update we will also (finally!) launch multilingual > With Nxt / NXTER.ORG landing pages with all the translations that have been made during these last months. And a thanks to translators! More are always welcome, just like everyone else who wants to help us in any way! :)

PS, "just for fun" EmoneyRu also installed a JayNRS mirror @ http://94.102.50.75:17876, which points to our node.

We've added a few dividend paying assets to our account over the last months. You may be aware that the 20K monthly MC donation to NXTP hodlers will eventually come to an end, so we're getting some additional revenue streams set up, which will flow through to NXTP hodlers. Expect an update about that soon. We've also come some way in the planning of NXTER.ORG's "phase 2", in which we will add additional services to the site, but more about that later. The main point is: Don't worry too much about the value of your NXTP's, they're long term hodl assets, and we're paying attention to them. If you DO worry, please sell them to me at the current dumping prices.  :)

Again - thanks to everyone who has done work for both Nxt and NXTER.ORG this month and before that.
If you haven't contributed yet - it's never to late to begin, do make contact: http://nxter.org/contact. Let's keep Nxt growing.  :)

[ANN] E9:
https://nxtforum.org/assets-board/e9-multistrategy-nxt-hedge-fund-bots-fx-crypto-trading-and-asset-portfolio/

As discussed in chat and DM with the E9 team,
NXTER.ORG really appreciates being put in front of the queue as a Nxt community service, and being offered this 5% discount.

E9 could really help us, and solve a present problem.
The problem is though, that there's no way in Hell we can afford to buy in.

TL;DR: NXT-WCUJ-524E-WMD5-HG6BE.

NXTER.ORG is ppl doing free work (/investing hours and skills per week) to help Nxt.
We have the NXTP asset, which we reward to contributors and which dividends out our net profit to its hodlers.
Atm these dividends come from ads sales and sponsorships only. Accounting and NXTP distribution: https://nxtforum.org/nxter-org/accounting-7309/

The idea behind NXTER.ORG is to build a magazine (some would say a competitor to Bitcoin zines) around Nxt & SN news, market analysis and reports, and use this to promote Nxt, 3rd party services + businesses with Nxt Inside, by offering info about them in a more accessible way than the forums and Slack. A central point of easy to access (and understand) info.

In phase 2 (when the tech is ready and we are) we’ll integrate Nxt and SN services into the site. This way our readers, the user base we’ve been building since Jan 2014 + new catches, can access them, even in their own language. No blockchain download > Buy NXT on the site, use it on the site or reinvest it on the site. We’ll make sure it is easy to do, and all code created will be open sourced. NXTER Magazine 2.0.

We’re still in phase 1, but we’ve proved our value, imho.

For example, all infos in the ESMA report are quoted from articles published on NXTER.ORG.
We've got the ~ amount of readers per article as CoinTelegraph has (we do not publish as many – we need writers!).
Our google rank is good, social media accts keep building audience (mostly outside of the Nxt community), and we’re now prepairing a relaunch of the site. We’ve had all Nxt main articles translated into landing pages in Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, French, German + more… we're waiting for a redesign of the site to be finished (and ”free work" takes time), then we can publish these sites and start promoting them.

BUT...
We do need more manpower!  8)

Almost a year ago, we got a 240K NXT donation from MC; 20K per month to dividend out to NXTP hodlers for a year, the rest earmarked for certain contests and faucets when we decide that we’re ready to do a push for wider adoption. We have the info and plan at hand, and we have the network of dedicated translators in many countries who will help with this - but we can’t pay them. Atm the MC dividend funds are about to dry out.

Therefore I write; we need writers. I make images for all articles. Research. Manage social media marketing. Pay out dividends. Answer emails. Network. And tell ppl who are interested in contributing, that they must work for nothing. We have a mailing list of 550 subscribers to Nxt news - but I can’t find the time to write them.

E9 can make the NXTP asset worth more, and make it more trustworthy; Atm it’s based on trust - that I and the NXTER.ORG core team will keep fighting for it. If it appreciates in value with E9, we can make more ppl work for it. Also, 20% of all NXTP stays with NXTER.ORG when the asset distribution is over. So besides paying the active community dividends, money will also flow into the NXTER.ORG acct and help cover our expenses (VPS node, hosting, bounties for urgent work, etc).

I've set NXTER.ORG up. It can help grow the Nxt platform, the community and Nxt businesses. But we need to give appreciation to the ppl who do the work.

Until this year, I’ve paid all NXTER.ORG expenses myself. I’ve had ~ 100K NXT donated to me all in all over these 1,5+ years for this, including an amazing 500 NXT donation (thanks, QBTC!) for managing the creation of the Nxt corporate design, which is now Nxt’s visual identity and has been adopted by all. I'm obviously better at promoting and raising funds for others than myself. :)

Now I’ll try to do it once again. For the last time.

This is an ask for a one time donation:

If you (yes YOU!) appreciate NXTER.ORG, what we have done and what we can do for Nxt in the long term, consider giving a donation.

If you appreciate the work that I’ve been doing for Nxt since January 2014, and the SuperNET Newsletters, please give a donation to http://NXTER.ORG.

If you appreciate the work that all other contributors to NXTER.ORG have done for Nxt, please consider donating to NXTER.ORG. Sadly I can’t show you the multilingual content yet, just asure you that all translations have been done by humans from all over the world, and it’s not just Nxt [CORE] articles, guides and the examples of Nxt usecases, but also the articles that promote Nxt businesses. The translators are hungry, but they need incentives to keep on going. Consider donating to them NOW!

All NXT donated to acct NXT-WCUJ-524E-WMD5-HG6BE will be used for buying E9 for hodling.
So that all dividends can flow through NXTP to the NXTER.ORG contributors and to NXTER.ORG itself.

IF you donate to the point where we can buy 25K (@ a 5% discount price), we can pay a “guaranteed” dividend of ~25K NXT per month to our contributors. By adding E9 to our portfolio, we will also - besides speeding up + supporting fiat-sucking into NXT - be the first crowdfunded magazine to pay it’s contributors with AE dividends from net profit + E9. IMO there’s a story there, about a new business model, about Nxt, Nxt AE, about sucking fiat into crypto, but also Coinomat, NxtInspect, and SuperNET (as InstantDEX + tradebots will most likely be part of Coinomat’s toolbox for E9, I guess). In other words, a story to gain interest from outside the Nxt community.

Hi Ruben, thanks for asking.

The release is near now, and I can actually use a little help with translating menus, categories and other strings now. :) (I'll contact you)

Shee, who created our new logo, has been supposed to do a redesign of the NXTER.ORG site for over one and a half month now. The reason for the redesign: To simplify, to give it a more up-to-date look, and to prepare it for the multilingual content. With the template we used, each local site couldn't be customized as much as we wanted.

A week ago, Shee left the project (because of stress), and with absurdly little work done.

Well, Nxters don't cry ::), so I took on making the needed changes to the site myself - this was simply faster than starting all over again with explaining short- and midterm plans to a new designer (I wrote all my instructions to Shee in Danish. Bad move).

Long story short, I have it on a testsite now but will upload it to http://NXTER.ORG asap next week.
The magazine part of the site is ready and can have all languages implemented now. After that, we'll get external ppl to work on Phase 2.

Wordpress experts are welcome to contact us, as we plan to go the "plugin"-way. That way any WP-site will be able to integrate Nxt easily. Ain't that something.  ;)

All this means that I haven't had time to write articles lately. I have another more than full time job on the side.
Oldnbold has been writing some updates lately, and he is contacting relevant ppl who can benefit from posting on NXTER.ORG.

As always - anyone is welcome to use NXTER.ORG for your Nxt/SuperNET related updates / blog post / articles.
Authors are rewarded with NXTP assets which represent a share of NXTER.ORG's profit. Dividends are paid monthly.

Thanks for the update @apenzl, it seems that the project goes in the right direction, despite the disadvantages.

sometimes the work is more harder than expected and stress will appear :-\

I'd like to help with articles too but I'm not qualified to write. (I hope and trust that my teammates dissimulate my weaknesses  ::) lol)

we are in contact

@Arthur: looking forward to seeing the redesigned site. Let me know if there's any proof reading required.

Re the ESMA/"N@S Stake attack" article, I've heard back from Kushti and ChuckOne with their comments/wording - hopefully get that published next week.

@ writers, translators and core team

first, thanks a lot for your work on NXTER.ORG so far.

I’m sorry about the delay with getting the redesign of NXTER.ORG ready, so we can move on.
The main reason is posted in short here: https://nxtforum.org/nxter-org/main-thread/msg191972/

Also, I wanted to add a few extra features to the site before having the strings translated, to avoid that you'd have to re-translate them because of some smaller changes I made. Now I’m satisfied and would like you to test the site. (another reason is that I began testing Nxt API calls within wordpress. I shouldn't do that, it sucks up too much of my time as a non-coder !) ;D  But it works.

Testsite is located @ http://nxter.dk - you can sign in with the username and password that you use on NXTER.ORG.

If you can’t get access you may have been added to NXTER.ORG after I cloned it. Then PM me.
All feedback - good ideas and critique - are welcomed. Thanks.

I can use some help with:

Front page:
We need a better banner for the SuperNET Section, IMO (@eth)

@MrCluster87:
Update advertisement page info.

@all: (not urgent)
What should be the FAQ-page’s general questions (and answers)?
About Nxt - the coin / tech / community, about NXTER.ORG, NXTP? Please shoot.

@oldnbold:
I finally got my pc back from the doctor. I will send you pages to proofread tomorrow evening.

@translators:
After oldnbold has proofread, there’ll be a few new pages to translate, I will assign them to you asap.

First new languages on NXTER.ORG will be:
Spanish
Russian
Chinese
Japanse
German
Bulgarian
French site will need an update.

I will set up these sites when I’ve killed the following TO-DO’s:

Change default avatars
Get the last sidebar content up on individual pages (change fonts too)
Assign admin rights to local editors - they should control their local sites only
Set up a private forum for contributors (for discussing ideas, assigning jobs, etc.)

Move design to .org
Send string translations to translators

About the new design

New logo, simpler menus, new frontpage structure (minor details are still in development).
The footer is full of good information.
In ‘article view’ authors are shown next to the articles now. Translators, don’t worry - you have NOT been forgotten! Translators should be shown along with the original authors, IMO. Anyways, please add your NXT acct ID in your profile for tips! We should try to get a tipping feature set up, when Nxt is implemented.

Most important, but not visible in the frontend, we can now customise local sites 100%!
So any changes you want to make to the Spanish / Russian / Chinese, etc, sites - let me know!
This can be menu items, sidebars, additional advertisement, another arrangement of front page elements, you name it.

In addition to the new look, I’ve added:

NXTER Wall
A page where users can post ideas, news, links, and discuss them. Somehow, it's like a real-time forum.
It’s difficult to follow everything in a decentralised project like Nxt, so bookmark the page and post relevant links here. The idea is to have this as inspiration for writers as well as a realtime community discussion tool.

OPINION (page + new category)
Users can now make posts directly to NXTER.ORG.
Authors will be awarded DOIT points for their posts in this category.

What are DOIT points?
Reward points which can be transferred between users or sent to a special account (NxterBank) to be redeemed for an MS currency, maybe ORA (XOS MS). More options will be added, but first I want to test the system. Consider it BETA.

OPINIONs can be selected by editors to be quoted partly on in full on the front page of NXTER.ORG. If selected for the frontpage, the author will receive NXTP (NXTER:ORG profit sharing assets) on top of the DOIT points.

Follow / unfollow
Follow users/authors. Just that for now. Part of the plan, nothing fancy.

Personal messages (+ realtime chat)
Registered users can now DM eachother. I thought it could become handy for us, but I will not make a big issue about it in public, as it should soon get replaced by a decentralised messaging solution.

Couple of thoughts:

Would it be more logical for DOIT points to be renamed DONE or DONE-IT points?

Is there a way for contributors to be given the right purely to review/edit one specific post?

ATM, as far as I can work out, to enable someone to review/edit a specific post, they have to be given 'author' status (rather than contributor status) and as an author they can add (albeit not publish) new posts themselves, which as the number of contributors increases could cause problems.

They can be called anything. I kinda like DONE-IT  ;D

Other suggestions are welcome.

I'll look into it. I have to look into assigning special permissions to "local" editors already. Thanks for reminding me of this issue, added it to the list.

Dear ppl,

It’s NXTP dividend-week again.
I bought a few plugins, and MrCluster87 is finishing the accounting right now.

It’s the last time the dividend will include the monthly 20K NXT start-up support from MC. Our asset dividend will therefore experience a bump next month. All info about the one year startup boost to the NXTP dividends is publicly available, but anyways, the TL;DR:

1 year ago, NXTER.ORG got 240K NXT from Nxt Marketing Community Fund (unclaimed coins) to support the NXTP dividends with 20K per month for a year. The remaining funds (plus what we've added to them) can be seen here: NXT-DG6A-4BEC-4G3W-D3VCC. It's all described here: https://nxtforum.org/marketing-committee/(mc)-nxter-org/msg117380/

Now to help fade out the bump in dividends next month, we’ve added some dividend paying assets to NXTER.ORG.
The dividends already received have been saved up, so they can be added to the NXTP dividend payouts from next month.

What we hodl:

E9 / EIX
We had a very short timed fundraising for this.

Donations received: 114,100 NXT. Allocated from NXTER.ORG reserve acct: 10,900 NXT. All in all 125K NXT.

100K NXT were generously donated by James, and 10K came from Peter2615. Thanks a LOT - and also to the rest, who rounded the fundraising up so nicely!

NXTER.ORG was offered E9 assets at a 5% discount, before they were released for public sale on AE. The asset is active and expected to give 10% in return monthly.

Even more so...

When you publish the BTCD address I'll send 100 BTCD. [DONE]

Let's hope if it will suffice to tease enough asset issuers and trading whales to do also some donations to the hodl account: [NXT-TK9J-MEKH-MUP9-HFCH2]

This ^ generous donation was from GIGminer. Thank you so much. Yes, we also hope for more, as donations go to all "original contributors" promoting Nxt!

SuperNET, DeBuNe, MMNXT

I donated some SN. Ludom made some advertisement deals as accountant, partly paid in assets.

However, even though we’re probably the first magazine (afaik) to pay our contributors a (small) life time revenue stream from crowdfunded dividend paying assets + net profit, the biggest asset we own is of course still NXTER.ORG. The name, the ad deals, the freelancers, the core team, the userbase worldwide and soon to be added: The Nxt and SuperNET services.

Pre-ANN:

NXTER.ORG is going to sit on 30% of it’s own profits.

Yeah, it’s not that strange, is it.

As the 1 year part of our agreement (as laid out by ourselves in our application) with the MC has come to an end, 1 month from today I’ll transfer another 15% of the NXTP assets to NXTER.ORG’s hodl acct. NXTER.ORG will then hold 30% of all NXTP’s issued.

Dividends from these assets will be used for re-investment purposes and for paying NXTER.ORG contributors. The fixed amount of issued NXTP assets won’t last forever, and eventually contributors, including the core team, will have to receive payments in NXT (or another currency based on the Nxt platform). It even says so in our budget:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18KVl9GGn-jSC3DEw7K4XLsmS4SiGT5xPGJp0JLOjUK0/edit?pli=1#gid=0.

What can you do?
http://nxter.org/get-published-get-paid/  As always :)

So what's left?

~ 400K NXTP’s are in our acct.

To distribute to contributors (writers, translators, editors and devs), and to use for asset swaps with interested partners.

Local editors and translators

Allwelder will be the editor of the Chinese NXTER.ORG, and we love it. We also welcome Jimbo, who has been a pro English > Spanish translator for 16 years and counting, as editor of the Spanish site. Seccour is our new French editor, after Hachoir. English is still covered by oldnbold and myself.

NXTER.ORG looking for ppl who can fulfill the editing role of the Russian, Japanese, Hungarian and German site. PM me or use http://nxter.org/contact if you want more info.
It's 2K NXTP per month fixed + 1/3 per translated article of what the original author was paid.

Another announcement, Anton Kobrynets will be making a Russian video/TV channel for NXTER.ORG.
Look forward to that one, here’s some content from Anton, to give you a clue about what to expect:
https://youtu.be/Qst2QZAzagg, https://youtu.be/L8U8-oxOwSw. Oh, I also heard he's gonna run a Russian NXT exchange: https://youtu.be/Qst2QZAzagg

Last but not least we welcome the latest translators, thank you for your enthusiasm and the great work you've done so far, we look forward to working closer with you.

The future will not be centralized. It will be YOU!

I can’t wait to start writing again, btw. But I have to deal with a lot of other tasks here too. You’re welcome to take all of them - just make contact, please. :)

What are DOIT points?
Reward points which can be transferred between users or sent to a special account (NxterBank) to be redeemed for an MS currency, maybe ORA (XOS MS).

Use of XOS (MS + sidechain) + NXTER.ORG brainstorm here:
