Title: Coinmap port for nxt?
Post by: Fuzzybear on November 20, 2014, 06:14:48 am
Hello NXT forum,

I am Fuzzybear from peercointalk.org and I have been porting services to PPC and one of those I came across was coinmap.org

I saw there was a few requests on the main bitcointalk thread here for NXT to be added, I have ported to Peercoin and Primecoin and am hosting it here coinmap.peercointalk.org I get regular updates from the coinmap on listings of businesses

Was just wondering if there was enough interest from the community for me to add NXT?

Let me know your thoughts

Sure. How many visitors do you have per month?
Dedicated domain would be better, imho.

Just took a look, and I like it. Not sure how useful it is, but it's definitely cool.....I'd like to see a version for Nxt.

Ok well the original dev seems reluctant to add new coins other than litecoin despite many requests.

My thoughts were if I added significant other coins then this could raise the funds for a dedicated domain, hosting and maintenance. I will be approaching the devcoin, blackcoin, dogecoin communities as well just off the top of my head.

Yeh its more fun for early days as there are few businesses out there, but its useful for raising awareness where you can spend your coins etc,

Is there anything in the NXT community for raising development bounties for projects? something like peer4commit.com

You can ask one of the committees. They have their own board in this forum!
