I had a Giveaway (50 NXT for first 200 user that registered) on NxtPlugins.

Sadly some stupid egoistic idiot registered 200 times and sent out the Nxt. So this is already gone.

I cannot understand some people around here...

I feel like I invested in something that just ceased to exist without any notification.

An update with good or even bad news would be appreciated.

Well, I cannot give either positive nor negative news on nxtplugins.com
The platform is running and being used a bit. But the plugins have not been used alot yet. We have just few developers that concentrate on Plugins. On the other site the users do not seem to use them so much.
I am not sure whether this is because of security questions or because the Plugins have not been bringing too many advantages yet.

But I think that some of those plugins are really helpful.
As you can see the website is alive, new Plugins coming in now and then but the traffic is very low (yet?).

So I would say it is a matter of patience. Currently we have 8 plugins with around 50 plugins being sold. I could argue that this is still one of the most successfull platforms using the Nxt Marketplace and with more plugins there will be more users. With more users there will be more developers turning to develop those plugins.

If it isn't planned already, the plugins could be prominently linked on the new nxt.org website.
Of course with a disclaimer about possible security/trust issues, and explanation of the option to disable plugins for certain accounts.

Can the security issue be resolved somehow?

at first glance: yes, when the developer just uses blockchain requests and does not contact other websites or servers. There is nothing where the plugin could do any harm.
on second glance: yes, it is a trust issue. When contacting 3rd party websites or servers (like shapeshift, mynxt, own servers), the website or server needs to be trusted.
Overall: for the paranoid user I would recommend to just install plugins that use blockchain functionality and not connects to 3rd party info.

I probably speak for a lot of people that we just want some sort of regular update.

There are many assets asking for investors but almost none of them keep their investors posted (Scared for bringing bad news)??

Of course we got patience and its a matter of time for NXT Plugins to be come normal and helpfull.

If people buy plugins does this mean there is profit to be shared among investors?

Ok, as the plugin requests have been low and people have been trying out different stuff, there have not been much updates in recent time. But as you see, everything is running fine so far.
While there are not many developers yet, we have not started taking fees for plugins and therefore we do not generate profit. This will change in future models but several things need to be in place first and meanwhile we support developers with 0 fees (just NXT fees). Just when the advantage of listing a plugin on nxtplugins is big enough, we will start adding fees (everything is in place to enable them).

I just tried to buy some plugins.. but.. it didn't work. 
I have managed to download a free plugin but for the pay ones, I have the modal "please confirm purchase" with the purchase green button. And when I click it, I end up on http://nxtplugins.com/index.php?username=Websioux&purchases where I can only see the free plugin I downloaded before. And nothing related with paiement intstructions neither what I'm trying to get. 

When it will be fixed I will buy some.

Hi websioux, are you sure you have enough NXT in your account?

Nothing told me that I had to send coins to an account, I was expecting this instruction to come up once I try to purchase. I didn't even know that once subscibed to nxtplugins, a nxt account was created and even funded. But I can see it now with one nxt. I think that there was no blue 1 tag in the top bar. Otherwise I would have try to click it to see what I see now. So It should work now, I will try again when it will be time.

Perhaps this is because of the time your system need to receive confirmation of the 1nxt pre-funding ?

Alright, I thought that you'll notice how many you got when you try to purchase. You can also purchase them directly within your wallet (use either the product ID or the seller Account to find it on the marketplace). You will receive a link to download the plugin afterwards. So you can either register and fund the wallet  (with BTC, LTC, DASH... via shapeshift) on nxtplugins or just purchase it on Nxt.
