Back to mining x11 on HR...but the payout looks poor. :(  pf, what non-asic coin is most profitable right now?

Cryptonotes probably.

Hey all,

Payments just went out again - the SHA miners payments have carried over all of the BTCD mining again to the next shift.  The coin's difficulty is now well over 3 million, and the pool has earned over 6200 BTCD coins so far.  I don't want to short-change everyone by liquidating them when they're still really cheap. At fair market prices the pool has over 1 BTC worth of BTCD from the last 36 hours of SHA mining, but with the difficulty on the coin increasing as quickly as it is I am holding off on selling them off for at least another part of a day.  Every SHA miner can see the BTCD they have earned on the my miner page and calculate approx what they are owed by looking up the BTCD rate on Bittrex.

I also am working on an update to bring Cryptonote GPU mining into the fold - it is far far more profitable than anything else that can be done with a GPU right now.  I hope to get that done at some point today, but I also have to work today and have two more appointments at data centres to discuss a home for the community-owned mining equipment.

Cryptonote news is awesome!

But have you seen my question regarding the connection to the website?
I cannot connect to hashrate.org neither from home or work; what kind of firewall policies do you have?  (Me being from Turkey)

Maybe best to wait a bit longer to cashout the BTCD?

Me thinks it is a bit undervalued now :)

The server is currently firewalled to only accept connection through Cloudflare.  The DNS however points to cloudflare, so you should be hitting us through cloudflare.

By the way, the pool has nearly 8000 BTCD, and it will be switching soon so that there is no more PoW mining.  If any of the SHA miners need to be paid out sooner, please check your my miner page and pm me and I can get you paid out for your BTCD at the current market rate.  (otherwise we will be holding onto it for a few more days until POW is nearly finished. The SHA miners have earned in excess of 1 BTC so far though.)
If any of the POW miners would prefer that I xfer the coins that they have earned over to their own BTCD wallet, please create a wallet and PM me the address. (I only want to do this for people holding considerable amounts of BTCD, this sorta goes against what the pool is intended to do but I don't want anyone to feel shorted in the meantime)

Help! Does anyone know why my KNC jupiter is dropping hashrate from 800GH+ down to under 10GH?  ???

Here's a hardcopy of the bfgminer screen:

Could it be hardware related or something with coin-switching? The miner worked OK on btcguild.

I switched to cgminer now and will see if it's getting better.

BTCD is currently worth 0.00049485 - any SHA miners can calculate how much they are owed by checking their balance on the 'my miner' page and doing the math.  (in total the pool owes nearly 4 BTC to the SHA miners so far (~8000 BTCD).

BTCD is POW for only a few more days, going POS only likely over the weekend.  If anyone would like to be xferred their amount of BTCD prior to the weekend please let me know and I can transfer it.  I would like to minimize this however, as the pool is currently staking with all of it's BTCD helping the POW stage end sooner. Otherwise the only SHA rounds that are paying out are non BTCD rounds. (there have been some non BTCD rounds still, but very few).

And Cryptkeeper - did you figure out what was going on with your rig?

If you're the worker I think you are, then you're currently waiting on nearly a couple thousand BTCD, which equates out to (at current prices)  nearly a full BTC worth of NXT. :)

No, not really, but I switched from bfgminer to cgminer and it has been working ok for over one day now.

Actually I have two bitcoin miners running at your pool, so it's a bit more than that!  ;)

HODL !!!  ;D

I just looked and that seems to be the Dark coin port not the BTCD only port, the BTCD only port is 10910, according to what I see on the sites port list.

Oh, I wanted to work at my hashrate sampler in c# again over the weekend (grabber part was already working), but now I can't access the website anymore...

Any news about a WebApi interface for miner hashrates? If you have any other idea how I can grab the hashrates off your site, you can PM me!

So PF what's the coin to point my GPU miner at on your pool these days?  Still Keccak?
My SHA miners are on BTCD.

Is the pool down for everyone or is it just for me?

Edit: "sha256: 554.86 GH - 47 miners" shown on the website, should be 3.5 TH. So it's not only me.

Edit: back to normal hashrate, seems to be fine now.

Hey all!
I'm trying to get the BTCD coins paid out without crashing the market so I set up a BTCD multipool (so I can use the profit from it to buy the BTCD coins directly from the hashrate pool)
If anyone else would like to get paid out - please send the pool's wallet address 6523077528166477715 a message from your worker address containing your BTCD address then I can just transfer you the BTCD coins (for anyone who would like to be a long term HODL'er).

I am almost finished integrating cryptonotes stratum into the pool so I will have an awesome update for all the GPU miners soon - mind you it will only be profitable if we get enough GPU miners using it, but I am confident we can.

Most of the time the pool seems to be under a fairly constant DDOS attack.  I have no idea who would possibly be DDOSing the pool nearly 24/7, but it hasn't stopped for days now.
If anyone else is having problems, please let me know.

And cobaltsky, should I be looking at adding ROX until it's 2nd POW is over?
