sync is stuck

for some reason my NXT wallet wont sync has hit block Height 209413 and just sits there  says im connected and connect to 20 connected peers  on NRS 1.12.0e tried on the previous NRS 1.15 but same thing , am running linux 18.04 bionic beaver

It's hard to say withouth seeing the nxt.log file, but -assuming your hard drive isn't full and that you didn't change anything in your network/firewall/antivirus configuration- maybe your blockchain data got somehow corrupted.
So a possible solution would be stopping the wallet and then erasing the nxt_db folder inside your Nxt folder, and then restarting the Nxt wallet again so that it starts downloading the blockchain again from scratch.
If you don't want to wait until the blockchain is download to your local device, there is an alternative way to do so: stop your wallet, download the blockchain file from https://www.jelurida.com/NXT-nxt_db.zip , unzip it and then paste the content in the nxt_db folder of your Nxt folder. Then relaunch the wallet.

PS: If you are using the Platform Independent Zip Package instead of the installer, always delete the LIB folder inside the Nxt folder before overwriting/updating your Nxt wallet

with the firewall the only thing i did was open all incoming and outgoing ports
But im obviously missing something in the log file it only has a placeholder.txt file and i have totally deleted the nxt files, tried to run version 1.15 instead but it comes up with a error saying that im using a older client for the DB??
Is the DB usually hidden somewhere else in the system, i have searched , I thought on linux it was in the nxt file, its got me totally stumped , like i said it says connected, the block is stopped at 209413, at the bottom og the page it says downloading, and so many blocks remaining, but that number is climbing not decreasing

The nxt.log file is in the Nxt user directory. The same happens with the nxt_db folder
