Set up...
July 07, 2017, 01:19:12 am

Ok, I am lost. This is the official set up page.

Starting over.

What is best method to start?

I have a vpn running on a Linux based router, I states I am connected and forging. Yet kicks out often and still not attached to public key. Why?

So, best best method is? Linux, Rasberry Pi, share your setup?

Is the pi 3 ok? I see it suggests the two. Is this an upgrade of value?

Yeah, perfectly ok.

The Raspi3 is an upgrade of the Raspi2. It has a faster CPU and some other improvements that makes this device achieve an overall better performance.
Both devices are usually priced the same, so I'd go for the newest model if I had to buy one. The steps to NRS configuration are pretty much the same in both devices ;)

Awesome!!! Excited. What honorable man took only 21-22 BTC to start this. This one public act of trust, is key. All paying attention know why. 🏅🎖🎗🎯🚀

Alright getting cords etc first. 1) power 2) Ethernet 3) keyboard 4) mouse 5) hdmi for screen.

Questions: do I need a mouse?
Can I use usb outlet for a screen? Have a little picture screen, it should work as a monitor for setup. (?)

Finding a monitor with hdmi .... A little bit of work. Tried cords and adapters vga to hdmi... Not working. Had an old lcd with vega input...(pins)  I may have to buy one. I know all televisions have hdmi. The prob is I don't own a television. The pic frame was not working, got distracted with the programs on there and then experiments with remote screen sharing but Idk... There is a mobile shh app. More of a remote access... Interesting, this is powerful possibilities for 50$

A bit of a learning curve. Surrounded by cords, screens, adapters old lap tops, cell phones, memory cards even an old modem. Junk for most of the population.

Just want a node bro... Lol
