I didn't really know a lot about NXT until I decided to use the asset exchange and basically deposit some NXT on my account. I logged in with my passphrase and then deposited my coins from poloniex. After a bit my coins showed up and I tried to use the Asset exchange. It kept saying that my passphrase was wrong. I tried to reconnect and then my account ID and everything had changed saying that my balance was 0... What could have happened? I've got professional antiviruses etc and was never hacked even if I used other coins like dash and nushares.
My address is this NXT-MMUX-ZJDA-UUGY-7JWTA and I can still see the funds. I had like 2-3 passphrases, all generated by previous editions of the NXT client that I kept on my pc on 3 different txt files and I can't really remember which one I used, however all of them direct me to different addresses... I am currently contacting poloniex's support in order to get my public address (I hope they give it to me) in case that helps with jnxt.org. I definitely used ctrl+a or marked it manually and then copy-paste either manually or using ctrl+c.
Basically I wrote this and then just manually chose less words. That was my mistake... I found it so simply... Some people like me, sometimes, act in very stupid ways. I was new to nxt so didn't know exactly how the 12 words thing was working, but now I know.
