Title: Difference in a method to stop the server after NRS 0.8.7
Post by: gstarcev on May 23, 2014, 03:21:53 am
By looking at diffs in the Nxt wiki, I see that the method to use STOP.PORT and STOP.KEY parameters in order to start and stop the Nxt server has been deprecated since at least version 0.8.7:

So, is it now OK to just press Ctrl-C in the terminal in which I started the Nxt server or should I rather kill the process with "kill -15 #ID PROCESS" or should I do something else?

Ctrl-C leads to a nice shutdown - I think that's the suggested way.
