So this is my experience:  Downloaded client.  Ran run.  Created a passphrase and opened account.  Went to a faucet that paid out using the account number in the upper left hand corner.  Then in flow of getting to know the interface locked the interface.  Signed in again using same passphrase and my account number was different and the nxt that the faucet paid (it won't let me draw again saying it has paid me) never showed up.  I checked for transactions to the genesis account in the Nxt Block explorer and no transactions for my time frame show up.  Is there a rational explanation of this experience that someone might provide?  Thanks in advance.

When I first got into Nxt a couple months ago, the faucet thought that it sent me Nxt, but it never did. I'm not sure if the faucets are more reliable now.

The only reason that you may have a different account number is if you made a typo when entering your passphrase.

do it again, log out and then log back in a few times to make sure you get the same acct# each time, and then ask for some Nxt here. Someone will probably hook you up.

I am consistently getting the same account number now, but the faucet claims it has already paid out though it paid to a different account number.

The amount given by the faucet is probably not worth losing any sleep about...

As IveBeenBit said, it looks like there was a typo in the first password you entered. A typo may be a space before or after the actual password, you can try to unlock account numbers accessed with " secretphrase" and "secretphrase ".

I get that. Not losing any sleep.  Just trying to understand what I am working with.

If you cannot figure out where was the change between the first passphrase you used and the others (there may be a non-reproducible typo there) send me a PM with the #acct where your faucet NXT went and your current, verified #acct and I'll gladly send you that faucet amount.
