The exe, dmg, and sh packages must have a digital signature by "Stichting NXT".

Change log:

This release contains a number of improvements and bugfixes.

API changes:

Optional includeHoldingInfo parameter added to the GetAccountLedgerEntry and
GetAccountLedgerEntry APIs.

UI improvements:

Account switch no longer reloads the wallet.

Numeric decimal position, thousands separator and date formats are now locale
based. The default browser locale language is used by default. A new
"Regional Format" client side setting provides the ability to override the
default.

Numeric formatting is now implemented for most table columns which display NXT
amounts or holding amounts. The number of decimals positions in each cell is
calculated according to the largest number of decimals required and zeros are
padded to the right.

Amounts specified in NXT are limited to the number of decimal positions
specified by the "Maximum NXT decimal positions" client setting. The default
behavior is to display two digits after the decimal position.

UI improvements for transaction tables, displayed in the dashboard and other
pages. Height column was added as a link to the block in which the transaction
is included.

Starting the wallet on a specific asset page is now supported.

Desktop Wallet:

Right click functionality for copy/cut/paste of input fields and copy of label
text is now enabled. Right click menu on the asset exchange left pane is
enabled.

Entering admin password in the UI settings is no longer required when using the
desktop wallet.

Upgraded jetty to version 9.3.9, make sure to delete old lib folder first if
updating manually.

My two NXT Java processes are using 100% of my CPU. I first noticed this yesterday, before 1.8.3, and 1.8.3 is doing it too. If I stop the processes and restart them, they are OK for a while and then it happens again. I compacted my databases this morning. I'm running on Windows 8.1, via run.bat.

The best way to diagnose CPU consumption (possibly infinite loop) is by taking a thread dump.
Please take two thread dumps several seconds apart.
The simplest way to take a thread dump is using the getStackTraces NXT API.
Another option is to use the Java jstack utility http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/technotes/tools/share/jstack.html

Please post the thread dumps and your nxt.log somewhere we can see them. You can PM me if you like to keep your privacy.

PM sent. I notice in the logs a few SQL statements taking 10-25 seconds. I doubt that's related but it seems a long time.

The impossibility of https connection (at least) from Firefox (NRS node on Fedora 23, OpenJDK 1.8.0.91-5.b14), as I reported by 1.8.1 & 1.8.2 versions, still persists in 1.8.3.

I have a problem with the client. The client gets stuck after a while forging on my Mac. It's still running, but I can't click on anything. I don't even see the hand-pointer when hovering on links. I relaunched a couple times, but after a while it's stuck again.

When I launch the web wallet it's fine.

Desktop Wallet:

Right-clicking doesn't work for me, no popup shown. I've tried with various entry fields (pass phrase, account etc.). Right-clicking on an asset works though.
I'm running the nrs on windows 10.

Hi guys,

I am confused about number formatting. In some cases points (.) appear as (,). If you take a look at My Assets for example you may see percentage as 0.15% but in numbers you will see numbers like this 9,700000

There is no consistency in formatting now which can cause misinterpretation in numbers.

I think the best way to represent numbers is by using point (.) and format like x.x. There is no need of xxx'xxx.xx or xxx xxx.xx.
If someone decides to analyze asset performance for example export to Excel sheet will produce text not numbers and all numbers needs manual format.

Please make this more usable or add some graph so asset performance is easily analyzed.

The NXT economy is in Asset Exchange and if you guys make assets exchange better we will see more assets and chances are there will be more high quality businesses here.

Please concentrate on Asset Exchange where NXT's economy lives.

Fixed this using Regional Format - English (UK)

The decimal point for the percentages was not included in the formatting (it is now and will be in the next release or NRS).

From your point of view, a . for decimal and a space as separator might be the correct way to represent numbers. Where I am from (and many other countries) it will be different a different decimal symbol and separator.

The decimal and separator are dependant on the language setting of your browser or the "regional format" option in the settings menu.
If the default option does not suit your needs you are free to change the regional format to something that suits you.

Strange, right click works for me, for example on the search box in the left pane and on any input field except the account selection box on the login page.
Also right click on labels brings the "copy" menu item.
