Can I remove everything from C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Nxt Wallet\Cache folder? Will that damage the app in any way?

I have a rare case bug, but one that took be a few hours to track down and it could be really confusing for users.

I issued a new asset mgwBTCD 13897302962208744213
It is appearing in the web GUI

But if you do a search for assetID's you will find that one doesnt exist!
The reason is that I issued it when I was on a fork and so it didnt really happen, but yet, it is there in the web GUI.

So I never thought to make sure it actually existed because I issued it, I saw it, all was good.

Maybe the GUI could verify that all assets in the list it displays actually exists? I know not a common case, but thought I would report it anyway

asset 13897302962208744213 doesnt exist on the main fork, it only existed briefly. We must both have been on the same fork!
I did the issueAsset again and got assetid 11060861818140490423
That one seems to be real

Next versions will not have this problem anymore.

Rescanning is triggered when the internal state cannot be restored properly by simply going by n blocks.

I'm not sure where to post this also...

I would sugest to add a check button on the asset exchange gui that should allow to see only your transaction, not only all. So that you can keep track of what is your transaction.

wesleyh, can you only tell me that you read that message? otherwise I might still post that feature as wanted in the future.
