Well, it could be a lot worse. It was for Mike and Mr Slave, who lost very large sums. Please remember this.

This issue is rather troubling.

First, if you're managing $100,000 and you're using casual software on the same computer, you are an idiot. Using ububtu would help -- and is actually the kind of advice that would help -- if it didn't sound so flippant.

But the real issue is that the people running the fund are unqualified. This is the sort of fuck-up that NXTinspect was supposed to stop. This is what KNS would have caught on day one long before it ever became a problem. I can't believe how stupid this community is.

And Cassius, honestly, for all your success and brains merging with a hacked fund is such a bad move I don't know if MMNXT is worth it anymore. It's already severely overpriced given the risk.

What this community needs is to fail. To learn from it's failures. God knows we've had enough of them so far. And i'll tell you why. It isn't because we don't deserve to succeed. It's because that is the only way people ever learn. The hard way. Because they want to be optimistic and flowers until the very end. But the way we are conducting businss here leads to failure. Complete abject and utter failure. I have no idea why this hasn't sunk in yet. I have over 300 pauls now because of my message on this. "Printshop at it again," they say. "New Paradigm" jl would say. Guys, guys.... you don't get it. If you don't know what you are doing and you have enthusiasm, go work for someone else who knows wtf they are doing and stop bleeding on the carpet. They're new carpets.

Hi printshop,
I think there's some confusion here.
MMNXT is a strong fund that has been running well for many months. There's no issue with it that I know.
It's run by coinomat, who is also heavily involved in running EIX, so there's no additional risk and lots to gain by combining them.
NEXT, the combined MMNXT/EIX fund, will not have a forex component, at least to begin with. The lost forex funds were with Mike/Mr Slave on their computers, not controlled by EIX (which would be impossible).
LQD remains a completely separate venture, run by LibertyNow.
The combined NEXT fund should therefore be as safe or safer, and more profitable, than MMNXT or EIX are now.

Thanks for the bit about brains and success, though I wouldn't mind more of either.
Out of interest, what's your background?

Agree. There is a serious lack of coordination (let along planning) in the NXT community. I'm hopeful this is the kind of issue that the Tennessee project can help solve. If you want to look professional, act professional.
