So the "Official" Response from the Nxt Community according to "Cryptocoin News" is that there is no roll back.  And the community percentage vote was in favour of a roll back (more than 50%) BUT the forges don't agree so it doesn't happen?  AND only 0.25% of the "community owns more than 1 million and 75% of total Nxt...  meaning basically 1 percent of the community is making the decisions for everyone and overriding the community decision?

I personally was against the roll back but if you take all of the above into consideration, the roll back should've happened shouldn't it?

I'm surprised nobody mentions Cryptsy as an alternate centralized exchange to BTER. I use them almost exclusively and like them.

No, lots of people changed their opinion after several pages of discussion.

I quit using Cryptsy in December 2013 cause it was absolutely unusable at that time -- 12 hours deposits or never coming through; 7 days withdrawals and the like.

Logged into my old account today and couldn't even generate a NXT deposit address.

A forum vote is no vote, it can be manipulated by anyone with admin or database access.

Rickyjames had 450K on it.
qqNXT also had XXXK on it
I had 200K on it

Also lots of medium/small amounts on it that are lost
Why did you store large amounts on an exchange? Did you learn nothing from MtGox?

Are you serious? Cryptsy is not serious exchange! You think crytsy would have helped klee to receive back his stolen NXT? Not even in your dreams!

BTER is a very good exchange, who has made a big error! Klee, one of our community has made the same error! Now nxt community should help BTER

They took 9 days to process my withdrawal, about 10 support tickets, and a lot of stalking of their threads on bitcointalk. No way I am trading on Cryptsy after that.

I've used http://en.btc38.com today after the "grand theft"  -- quick deposits and instant withdrawals (1% withdrawal fee). Definitely good user experience.

nxt community should help BTER
I agree with you.

Wait, you post this to help hacker stay safe? How noble of you. Maybe you could cover my losses at BTER as well?

Sorry, I can't cover ur loss, a big chunk of my NXT went away together with those 50M. We just have to wait and hope that the police will get the hacker before someone else will do that.

Agree on NO cryptsy... horrible withdraw times and support. 4+ weeks plus to withdraw and 20+ emails of "support", finally got the NXT when I started to post in forums and they "manually" did the transaction.

Stay away if possible.

No. Supposing the vote was accurate, it still makes sense that a decision so important to Nxt future should be taken mainly by those who have the most invested in it. If a rollback (or whatever) destroys confidence in Nxt, or if the hacker dumping destroys the market price, it is the whales who have most to lose.

Nxt is a plutocracy. It enshrines in code the Golden Rule: He who has the gold, makes the rules.
