Can someone please advise how to safely buy some Jinn since it is no longer possible to create an account on mynxt.info?

You can download the Client (https://www.jelurida.com) or try here: https://nxt.jelurida.com/index.html

you guys didn't read my post. I know that there is a team working on JINN for a fact. They are in stealth mode because this is a game changer. Now they have billions of funds to speed up development and hit the big chip manufacturers even with this new tech.

Selling now is crazy imo. I am waiting to have shares of the new intel for blockchain.

What I would like to know is exactly what they plan to do with the current asset. Assumption is that NXT blockchain will slowly degrade after ignis finally online.

that the nxt blockchain will degrade has nothing to do with this asset. nxt is just a holder for it and its blockchain is certainly not going to die just become outdated from ignis

We don't know that. The security of the block-chain depends on the cost of attacking it, which depends on its market cap. If everyone flees to Ignis - and I don't see why they wouldn't - then Nxt could become vulnerable to a 51% attack. A feedback loop sets in: the less people use it, the lower the price, the less secure it is, the less people trust it, the less people use it. The devs have said they'll keep a few nodes running, but if there's no community, the coin will be dead in all but name.

jelurida has repeatedly said that they will continue maintenance for 2 years and then some other people are going to take over. are you seriously worried because someone will steal your JINN assets? That's not a thread for NXT

You missed my point, which is that it isn't sufficient for Jelurida to continue maintenance for the chain to remain strong. And I've already said I've sold my JINN, mainly for this reason.

I think I got your point.

you are regret that you sold all your JINN, you want to sell it high and buy in low, but It still too expensive for you, so you come here to make some noise that others will throw to you.

Oh, my god, sorry for my poor English, lol

@Triangle You should still stay in silence, small holder will sell all their shares to you.

No regrets; I just feel able to say things here now that I didn't want to say before I sold. I always felt JINN was a long shot. I made a decent profit from my involvement and have no hard feelings. I hope it succeeds.

Yeah... as a holder of NXT since inception I've seen more than enough of how this ecosystem works and worked over time to know that NXT will die sooner or later once Ignis ico done. Maintenance for 2 years? Great! How does that keep a blockchain alive?

Jiang - you sound like a very new entrant to this merry go round. I'd suggest instead of being a smartass you might want to do some reading and exercising your brain.

Suffice to say, you also haven't bothered to put any thought into non-technical aspects of dealing with an asset, such as potential for Triangle to expire the NXT asset after an announcement because they no longer see a point in having a NXT-AE (which is basically dead, btw) backed ledger for whatever outstanding rev shares they must deal with.

So go back to your hole and I'll keep asking pertinent questions. I feel the likely answer is to check out IOTA slack since CfB has been offline here for years. It's definitely not the answer of "dont' say bad things about MY blockchain - shill shill shill shill". Grow up.

It is so unbelievable to me that you have sold a (high-risk) asset potentially a game changer for blockchain hardware space that doesn't even exist right now just because the underlying asset carrier will get retired *maybe* in 2 years from now?

Have you done any rationality checks on this recently? This belongs to the IOTA team and obviously they will make a swap somehow for GIOTA or something along the way.

And yes you can go ahead and ask CfB if they have a team working on JINN currently to see his response. Just go and do that.

In any case, bravo for selling apple stock in the single digits guys!

I wouldn't touch IOTA with a barge pole. My concerns over the IOTA shenanigans, such as https://perc360.com/iota-surges-announcing-partnerships-dont-exist/, their scalability issues, their hashing bug, and how they responded when the bug went public, are part of why I sold. As you say, it is high-risk. I have lost confidence in the team and chosen to walk away. Too many red flags. I'm willing to take the risk of them being another Apple.

I get what you are saying, but it's the guy that made NXT. How bad can this tech be :)

I hope that means they haven't forgotten about this asset on the NXT blockchain. It could be a hidden gem if the JINN project is still active and the asset is still linked to the project.
