Q: Can MGW handle BTC coloured coins too?
« on: May 20, 2014, 04:04:31 pm »

James,

been thinking, as MGW handles anything multi-sig once it has a coin daemon registered, don't the coloured coins on top of bitcoin rely on a bitcoin TX to confirm their TX - so if this can be multi-sig can we gateway all the 2.0 coins that are building on top of bitcoin once we have daemons for their wallets?

I am pretty sure both XCP and MSC already use BTC multisig to implement their protocol. I dont think they have implemented multisig for their own currency.
Its one of those common sense things that sounds like it should work but my feeling is that it will be very difficult to do
