I requested a mgwBTCD deposit address twice the other day. The second time I requested after waiting about an hour and not receiving a deposit address.

Both times I got the confirmation message that my request had been sent but no follow up message to say my address had been created.

It has worked fine in the past with mgwBTC. I've got a handful of BTCD sitting on Polo that I'd rather have in my account. Is the service working?

To deposit BTCD, you can jump straight to the new SuperNET beta client - http://www.supernet.org/download.html

mgwBTCD asset was handled by development servers, which only go online now precisely as users request a transfer to the new servers/superBTCD asset. You'll find the new client is faster and service is much more reliable.

I confirm few days ago I did deposit and withdraw BTCD from Supernet client and it was really really fast.

Just tried the SuperNETv1.4b release with blockchain updated. Logged into a different account to what I used yeaterday and requested mgwBTCD deposit address.

Got this arbitrary message right away: faeedbba3c000000be6cf2398b74e697670000000000000000000000010000007b2242544344223a22227d from NXT-JXRD-GKMR-WD9Y-83CK7.

Waited 33 confirmations and watched MGW scan for a mgwBTCD address and still nothing? No follow up arbitrary message saying that my account has a mgwBTCD address or anything.

The system worked fine with mgwBTC but isn't working for me.

Any ideas? Do I have to resort to building my own BTCD QT wallet and using that? I'd rather ave everything tied into my main NRS/SuperNET address.

Try Supernet client (orange one). Last I checked I got BTCD deposit address almost instant and deposits and withdrawals were fast. Asset id for superbtcd is 6918149200730574743

Be careful with this!

It maybe works only in one direction and you can't get your BTC back.

It's certainly not an automatic procedure, there is an MAN in the middle, maybe a whole team!!!

When I will not receive anything back from this vehicle, I have to conclude that it is a scam.

And if so, SuperNET and NXT are part of the game!

Do not worry. I have sent and received BTC and BTCD a lot of times using MGW. Sometimes it takes a while but I have always received my coins in the end.

Is it possible to reactivate this transaction in the new MGW or is it lost for ever?

What's NeXT?

I am using the development MGW servers to debug things, so the MGW for dev BTCD is offline
without any details, ie. address, txid, it is not so easy to track things down
how urgent is this? the funds are there, but when the servers are offline, they wont process anything and I am right in the middle of transitioning to a test version

plz use the new BTCD MGW servers that are not being used for development

do you have txid?
was it deposit or withdraw?
it will get picked up when they come back online
the SuperNET is using the new servers, so you must be using a very old deposit address

You can find the new MGW in the SuperNET v2 Beta clients here. I've added a permanent link to v2 Beta releases in the top of this SuperNET software releases forum section.

In any case I posted download links in this topic a few posts above.

Whenever you want to report any issue with a transaction, please provide the transaction ID - or at least the Nxt account you were using. Otherwise we cannot track anything down and all we can do is guess. So please provide that.

Your transaction is not forgotten, nor lost forever. No transactions are forgotten in Nxt blockchain. It was simply addressed to a server triplet that, as james pointed out, is now by default offline. MGW has suffered from delays and technical issues, but deposits and withdraws have always reached destination. With the exception of two or three transactions currently related to the (offline) development servers, everything has been delivered. In this case, if development servers cannot be run and caught up with any pending operations in the next days, once we have your transaction information we can solve it manually.

And please be careful with those fast scam accusations.

The old development servers that handled those assets have been offline for some time, so these cannot be withdrawn directly anymore. But no coins/assets are lost.

There is a MGW Redeem account ( NXT-6YQW-HHCG-NATW-DCHJ3 ) where development assets to be updated have been sent since last November. However, the new superNET assets for BTC and LTC, among others, are already alive (and the service can be beta tested, see instructions here).

So I think you have two good options. One is waiting for a bit to get your dev mgwBTC and mgwLTC swapped for the superNET assets, superBTC and superLTC. As soon as the new superNET client version including them is released, asset swap for the new assets will be active. Another option is cashing out the dev assets at current BTC/NXT and LTC/NXT market rates, which I'm sure james can do for you.

Hi, I realized I had a fair bit of btcd in my nxt wallet. I sent some to the address- NXT-6YQW-HHCG-NATW-DCHJ3 with my btcd address. I didn't send all of it, as it was just a test to see if I would receive btcd in return. Is there something else I have to do?

the swap mgwBTCD > superBTCD was done long ago, but since the process is not automated and the old wallets are still available, it can be done. Just please:

- Send the total amount of the mgwBTCD you want to swap to the MGW redeem account, NXT-6YQW-HHCG-NATW-DCHJ3. Swapping 5 mgwBTCD and then another amount is double work, since as implied every transfer needs to be done manually, manual multisig transactions are much more complex than a regular transaction and they take some time.
- Attach to the mgwBTCD transfer a message (encrypted or not, as you prefer) with the destination BTCD address where you want your coins sent.
- Please allow for a few days, the swap will be done but I'm afraid I have little available time and many things in the to-do list.

Edit: Also, if you have any other inquiries about this, please post in the https://nxtforum.org/nxtservices-releases/multigateway-user-support-thread/ - old topics like this one can be overlooked more easily.
