Title: Heard there's a MGW to Coin asset acct balance review site? MGW article
Post by: JGalt on November 18, 2014, 06:09:02 am
Howdy! Tittle says it well.

Heard there's a site that can verify that MGW servers are on full reserve and that coin assets have not been hacked or some other terrible and unlikely thing has happened. Basically, live data that proves a 1 to 1 peg.

JL777 mentioned someone was working on such a site or that they were up already. But didn't have a URL for it.

Anyone know it?

I'm writing an article for Bitcoin Magazine on the MGW and this link would be a very useful reputation marker.

Check out my latest BitMag Supernet article, in case you missed it!

Cheers.

Here's one for the second cluster on the MGW. This cluster supports 3 coins. (BC,VIA,DOGE)

Can't see how it shows the assets/deposits adding up though.

Hey JGalt,

since MGW is in the process of migrating assets and coins from development servers to production servers (which does cause temporary mismatches in amounts, as transfers are made and confirmed) the monitoring tool for production servers is still not active.

Production servers operators are deciding the most reliable way to produce an output with servers state so we can display it on a website. Initially with simple text, in a similar way to the second cluster, that should be progressively improved.

These last days we're waiting for development servers to process a queue of BTC transfers to production servers. Soon balances should start to tally again and then production servers will start to produce a monitoring output for users to see the server state; NXT and assets balance for each server, coins in wallets and others.

Excellent! thank you. Valarmg, and VanBreuk. I'll post that link on the article and mention that a site for MGW#1 should be up soon, after the migration has happened.
