NXT Infrastructure Committee (InfCom) introduction

NXT Infrastructure Committee Introduction.

Welcome to the forums section for the NXT Infrastructure Committee (or InfCom from now on).

What:
The InfCom is 5 elected representatives of the NXT community who, together with the similair Marketing and Technical Development committees, are responsible for decisions on the use of NXT community funds, mostly consisting of 'unclaimed coins' from the initial distribution and donations from NXT stakeholders.

The role of the InfCom is to make decisions on providing financial support for projects within the infrastructure of NXT (NXTwork for short).
You can define this as projects that concern the performance, resilience, capacity, and security characteristics of NXT core hardware and software.

Who:
InfCom consists of 5 members of the NXT community, elected as follows;

EvilDave: 133 votes - 16.6%
ferment: 119 votes - 14.8%
chanc3r: 107 votes - 13.3%
ChuckOne: 95 votes - 11.8%
^[GS]^:  84 votes - 10.5%

Full results: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345619.msg5578891#msg5578891
After the main election, EvilDave was chosen as InfCom spokesperson.

How:
Making it simple: if you have a project that you think will have benefits for NXT, that concerns the NXTwork infrastructure and that needs funding, send a proposal to the InfCom, either by posting it here, on one of the other NXT forums or via PM to one of the InfCom members.
We would like to have fairly comprehensive proposals and applications, giving as much detail as possible on the proposed benefits for the NXTwork, the implementation methods and financial costs.

Proposals and applications will be discussed in detail, before being voted upon. A 4:1 vote is required for approval.

The list of members isn't actual anymore. Marcus03 left and ^[GS]^ replaced him.
