That is a destroyed (= sent to the genesis account) NXT.

It is now null in the DB/API for performance reasons

https://nxtforum.org/nrs-releases/nrs-v1-2-1e
Quote
To improve database performance, transactions that do not have a recipient now
have null instead of the genesis account id as recipient in the transactions
table. Such transactions will also not have a recipient field in their JSON.

Hi,guys!

I found a strange thing,when I open http://localhost:7876/nxt?requestType=getTransaction&transaction=4016189039045729226 ,I notice the timestamp is -929,as I know,this is wrong,but it's in NXT blockchain since height 8,seems will stay forever.

see here https://nxtforum.org/index.php?topic=85.msg99381#msg99381

Edit: and here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345619.msg4090696#msg4090696

Edit2: seems like "blockTimestamp" is the relevant number

is this perhaps related to a recent release?

https://nxtforum.org/nxt-helpdesk/debian-8-1-live-disk-my-transactions-are-not-getting-confirmed/

The NRS is accepting my transactions, but then they are not getting confirmed.

Using Debian 8.1 Live Disk.

is your system time correct/accurate?

General Discussion / Re: Transparent Forging, whats the status?
« on: July 13, 2015, 08:46:33 am »
From the wiki:
Quote
What is "transparent forging"?
Nxt is implementing "transparent forging", which will allow Nxt software to predict which accounts will forge upcoming blocks. This is basically done by iterating through all active accounts and seeing which one has the highest "hit". Transparent forging will rapidly increase transaction processing, since the account that will forge the next block will be known. Another benefit of this feature is that accounts that are due to forge, but do not, will be penalized by having their forging power temporarily reduced to zero

It was meant to be implemented in steps. Many steps have been made already (see the TRANSPARENT_FORGING_BLOCK constants section in code (*)), since the next forger can be predicted (see e.g. https://nxtportal.org/monitor/ for a nice GUI)

It remains to be answered if
A) nodes specifically send the transactions to the determined forgers node and
B) if there is some kind of punishment implemented for forgers missing their turn

Devs please?

I found CFB created a version of what now is agar.io but betting with bitcoin!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=127159.0

Couldnt it be done with nxt? Ive heard lots of people saying agar.io with bitcoin bets would be amazing, but how his game worked with luck involved and not eating the smaller fishes 100% of the time looks better.

Do you have a screenshot of the game? Maybe I can buy it and relaunch it (like nxt.tothemoon.me!)

I get it,I copy 1.5.9 run.bat to 1.5.10,others remain the same,and it works.

So I pretty sure there is a compatible bug in 1.5.10 run.bat file.

Are you running WinXP?
According to the comments in the new run.bat (v1.5.10) Win7 is a min. requirement.

^ you need Java 8
Hi thanks for your suggestion,

I updated to Java 8 rev45 ( rebooted the computer ) unpacked the nxt 1.5.9 and still the same error :

NRS v1.5.9 not work with Java 7?

I believe that Java 8 not work with WindowsXP

It does work with WinXP (but it is not officially supported)

Thanks for the new release!

I get a lot of the following warnings
WARNING: Unexpected thread death: org.eclipse.jetty.util.thread.QueuedThreadPool$3@627accb8 in WebSocketClient@1566978354{STARTED,8<=10<=200,i=5,q=0}

Any hints?
(Didn't change any settings, memory reserved is 640M)

Is this with -Xmx640M?  Are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit JVM?  You can see what version of Java is installed by entering 'java -version' from a command prompt.

Yes, from the top of my head it is with -Xms640M and -Xmx728 (currently no access).
Java 8, 64bit. I see the warning on two machines.

Thanks, btw  :)

This has to be related to the use of websocket. Probably not memory related.
Do you get any other messages, perhaps a stack trace ? post the messages from the nxt.log itself.

Thanks lyaffe as well.

This is an example directly from the log:

Probably you need to make the size smaller. See below quote from VanBreuk.

The module auto-resizing external avatars is currently not installed, and linked avatars are limited to a smaller 65px size.

In order to use a custom avatar, for your convenience it will be simpler to resize the external picture to a 80x80 size and upload it yourself in your profile.

Today, 87.230.14.1 will go offline.

Why? Is it yours?

nxtexplorer.com was reachable using this ip (until today)

But the explorer will still be reachable by the 'wordy' address or is the explorer going offline too?

I think the name point's to a different IP address now - so very likely.

(if you need more accurate information, you'd have to ask bitcoinpaul or nexern)
