Summary of Ardor platform teasers:

1) How does Ardor platform work in short overview:
Ardor -> forging, ChildChains -> pooling of tx, Bundlers pool the tx & submit to a block. For inclusion in Ledger, you need the MainChain

2) BTC-USD trades:

Nxt 2.x will contain a Coin Exchange where users can trade child coins with each other.
Which chains will Coin Exchange transactions appear in?
The transaction is in the chain for the coin you want to exchange.  The exception is that any exchange involving ARDR will be in the main (FXT) chain since ARDR exchanges affect forging and cannot be pruned.

Please dont use Nxt 2.0 anymore as it is Ardor and looks like its a replacement of Nxt while it is not.

Also please dont use FXT anymore but Ardor.

Both were project codes because the name Ardor wasnt decided yet.

Thnx

Once IGNIS is up and running, what is the need for NXT?  IGNIS does everything NXT does and is scalable.  It seems redundant.

Projects will still consider Nxt if Ardor is too big for them. Running a child chain on Ardor will not be cheap and having a project run on IGNIS might not be enough. Keep in mind that IGNIS transactions will be pruned.

I also want to buy lot more Ardor. But only under € 0,010. And it is still arround € 0,011.

Back in the days, I discussed NXT price on IRC with someone who said "The price is currently at 250 satoshi. NXT is great, but the price should be under 200 before I buy"

The next day...

The next day you woke up? ;) ;D

Probably won't go under 0.01 anymore :)

if u have 10BTC .... buy ARDOR or NXT ?

Hard to say.

Ardor will go to testnet this Q1 and Solves scalability and blockchain bloat issues that all other blockchains suffer from.
That can make the price go up.

As Ardor is not live on mainnet new projects like Janus, Adel, Debune, BNP Paribas (testing) all happen on Nxt.  Also Nxt is running smooth for 3 years and Ardor isnt even live yet and has to set a trackrecord first for being solid and secure, so businesses tend to go for secure feeling first if you ask me.

In Q3 (to be set date) you will get free IGNIS tokens, which is the 1st Child Chain of ardor platform for your NXT holdings and still keep your NXT so that should make the price of NXT go up i think.

In Q3 Ardor will go live on mainnet so that will make its price go up.

I am not trader so it is hard for me to say.
I am 1/3 in NXT and 2/3 in Ardor, but that is mostly because i did bad trading. Wish i was 50/50.
But dont take my advice.

I just want to say that both projects are really good and i think this year is going to be great. Also looking at the energy efficient Proof of Stake algorithm these platforms have.

What about testnodes for Ardor?
Is it alot different setting up than with Nxt, how many do you need?

Main chain is ARDR.  Child chains are IGNIS, BTC, USD and EUR.  ARDR, IGNIS and BTC have 8 decimal places while USD and EUR have 2 decimal places.
Don't forget the Chinese Yuan (CNY). At BTC38 the pair NXT/CNY has high volume and low spreads. see: http://www.btc38.com/trade_en.html?btc38_trade_coin_name=nxt
During the ARDR snapshot period in July the NXT trading volume at BTC38 was some days more than double the NXT volume at Poloniex, so I think a large percentage of the ARDR assets are currently held by Chinese.

It can also be seen here: http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nxt/#markets
Right now, the NXT volume at BTC38 is more than double the volume at Poloniex.

Good one as we cant issue our own Child chains yet right for the 1st version?

This is really great,so there is going to be 3 childchains?
Main chain is ARDR.  Child chains are IGNIS, BTC, USD and EUR.  ARDR, IGNIS and BTC have 8 decimal places while USD and EUR have 2 decimal places.

I have several projects at https://github.com/ScripterRon that can be used to check out the new features once testnet is available.  You can also take a look at the code if you want an advance look at the new API.

Who is going to be responsible for bundling these official childchains?

The bundlers of the specific Child Chain.  Can be multiple people that have this role. Think it can be handed out by the Child chain issuer.

If i am not correct please let me.know
