Warning to ANYONE bringing a personal vendetta to the forums: don't.

The deleted posts have been autosaved, and it's rather clear you two have a problem with each other.

So they have been autosaved and you have had the chance to go through them and yet kLee isn't perma-banned from this forum? It's ok for a forum member to make accusations of serious crime against other community members without a shred of evidence? It's ok for a forum member to soley instigate infinite ad hominem attacks on someone that merely ask a rational question regarding their claims that they can predict markets?

Honestly Damelon, answer this and I consider the case done.

PS: Klee, I know your wife left you and you have ruined your own life, but continuously 'negging' me on this forum won't bring her back. Move on.

Please stay ontopic or find another forum to fight each other. Thanks.

Fuck off Farl4bit, you deleted my post merely criticizing Klee's claim that he can predict markets. I understand that this is way beyond your brain's ability to comprehend, but to actually predict markets is an extraordinary claim that require extraordinary evidence, none of which Klee has presented, so your bias has been exposed 100% for anyone with even two digits IQ. Not to mention the fact that you deleted the posts where Klee was claiming me and CfB hacked him for 1000 BTC and called me a 'homo', 'transvestite', 'girls are useless' etc. Where is your outrage over this? Nowhere. You're useless in every sense of the word.

Just have to repeat what I said: I think you're wasting your time until you include the broader community of crypto that uses Proof of Stake. It's no longer a niche technology, and Nxt is nowhere near the position of influence to determine the term single-handedly. Nxt need to stop being so centric and start focusing on the bigger pictures.

This is a good idea but impossible to conduct.

If you have a look at coingecko you'll find more than 30 coins with POS protocol. All those coins have a community like Nxt. To contact each of them and to find a consensus about this term is a life's work!

Go to the 'gold standard' of coinmarketcap. Pick top 20 (you have to if you want to include Nxt these days) and contact some representative of the PoS communities. You only need the ones that is actually relevant.

PS: Klee, I know your wife left you and you have ruined your own life, but continuously 'negging' me on this forum won't bring her back. Move on.

Triangle please stop this behavior. Farla deleted all posts that started this. Both klee and yours.
That is the most fair and I would have done the same.

Please act as an adult and lets put the energy in the positive things of Nxt, TOGETHER

Nope, he did not. My posts were responses to slanderous claims by kLee. I never initiated any of it. kLee came out of nowhere today and accused me and CfB of stealing half a million dollars from him, am I not allowed to respond to that? Am I also not allowed to respond to his claims that he has software that can predict markets?

Insanity.

such drama

It's over now. Farl4bit has shown his true colors and so have kLee, I'm satisfied with being proved right after 2 years.

As for on topic of Nxt price, well my point that I made a month or so ago still stands: Nxt need to find its role in the real world, not just in the realm of ideas. I have personally explored several of these, some of which interface with IOTA, but I'm far from confident that with people like Farl4bit they can be realized.

I will delete the posts (again).  Take this somewhere else please, you already have a fight on Bitcointalk.

So you deleted my post which was a genuine criticism of kLee's claim that he can predict markets by digital chiromancy, and you let his self-advertisement remain? And you also delete evidence of kLee's meltdown and slanderous attacks and accusations on me and CfB?

You will be perma-banned from everything IOTA related, someone as unprofessional as you should not even be a moderator of the remote control of a television set.

I deleted those posts because they are in violation with the forum rules: https://nxtforum.org/meta-forum/nxtforum-org-registration-agreement-june-2-2014/

1.- No personal attacks. Insults and threats will not be tolerated.

These rules apply to everybody, I will not make exceptions, other forum members found it annoying, so I deleted the posts (after it derailed in another topic this day before).

Permaban me if you like, that shows who's really a good moderator...

Personal attacks, I made no personal attacks, kLee was the one saying "homo", "transvestite", "women are useless creatures who only talk, can't make things happen", "pussy", "you don't dare to fight me hand to hand combat" etc.

When I pointed out that he's insane it was because he claims Me and CfB literally hacked him 2 years ago and stole 1000 BTC, that's not a ad hominem, that's literally pointing out the truth.

And I simply voiced my healthy skepticism of his claim that he has software that can predict markets based on technical analysis of charts. That is not an ad hominem, yet you deleted it, and let his self-advertisement stand.

Now that you have had your fair chance to reply, I will ban you for being biased and dishonest.

My 2 nxts:

Having this discussion without involving the broader Proof-of-Stake community is almost a waste of time. Now that so many different platforms use/plan to use PoS in some capacity it's almost impossible to establish the 'accepted term' on a forum as isolated as this one.

Suggestion: invite the other communities to have a discussion about it, if nothing else it exposes more intelligent and productive people to the Nxt platform

Is there a chance we can trade Jinn in IOTA in the future ?

No such plans. From a personal perspective I feel that the Jinn project has shown that you can indeed crowdsource resources in a decentralized fashion, but also shown that there are indeed 'side effects'. I used to be a huge champion of crowdfunding and crowdequity, but over the last 1.5 year I have come to dislike it more and more on a general level, as you end up with A LOT of inexperienced people who does not understand what they purchased, as well as pure speculators that does not care one second for the project itself and will act accordingly, which consumes A LOT of time and energy for the people holding the crowdfund, time and energy MUCH better spent on the project itself.

The Jinn project is about reinventing computing, not asset trading, thus having further liquidity of JINN tokens is not something we're focused on. In fact at the moment it's something we oppose due to necessary steps in the future to identify JINN token holders and enforce the profit-rights they hold.

I will do a blogpost on this entire experience some time in the future to inform other people who are contemplating going the route we did with JINN. I know from other projects that a lot of the concerns I have with this kind of thing is shared by others who has gone through and conducted the same 'experiment'

There is constant progress, but like I said earlier this month we will postpone any announcements until after IOTA is launched. After that a big summary will come and we will exit stealth mode.

IOTA spawned as a necessity for our vision of the Jinn project, so it only makes sense to first introduce IOTA and then Jinn afterwards. For anyone still wondering why it's "taking so long": it's really not. We're trying to redo computing itself here, it's not an easy task. Even big companies spend years developing their new iterations, Jinn is no iteration, it's a brand new paradigm, so patience is important.

Also we *have* to be very secretive about the inner workings and standings of the Jinn project simply due to the fact that once we launch out of stealth and we demonstrate what we have invented and created we are going to get noticed by people who got tens of billions at their disposal, we're already enough in a 'David vs Goliath' situation, let's not give Goliath more advantages:)

Yes. As far as I heard triangle plan to never sell more Jinn.

Then how will they finance a production run ?

Triangle you want to weigh in on this ?

Sale of equity to VCs.

That will be equity in Triangle right not just Jinn ?

Yes.

Jinn update will come post-IOTA launch. There's a ton of new things that will be included, as well as us exiting stealth mode. But no, the project is 100% alive

If you can convince this dude to build his start up ontop of Nxt platform, it would be a clear "real problem" solution:

Arcade City: Decentralized, Blockchain-Based Answer to Uber: http://cointelegraph.com/news/arcade-city-decentralized-blockchain-based-answer-to-uber

Personally I think their business model is hugely wtf. "Let's get rid of the middle man by being the middle man!" genius. Not to mention their insanely flawed idea of running a token sale for this kind of service, and promising those who buy 'life time of free rides', which makes no mathematical sense whatsoever.

Farl4bit:

and

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flexibility-usability_tradeoff

No one is saying that Nxt has to restrict itself to jut ONE thing forever, but it should focus on doing one thing REALLY good, and then later on it may expand on that. But it needs real life input, you can't build in a theory-space vacuum forever and expect the product to work in reality, this is especially true for complex systems. I suggest this book: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10127019-the-lean-startup

It's also worth asking: what functions of the decentralized world would get real life adoption first? Even Ethereum is primarily forked and turned into a permissioned system, because that's what most businesses want.

My 2 nxts:

Nxt has been heading towards a very obvious doom since mid-2014, that is indisputable. SOMETHING has to change, I don't think anyone doubts this anymore, however before radically changing Nxt or even entertaining the idea of a IPO 2.0 the question that should be answered first and foremost is this: WHAT exactly is Nxt's vision? WHO is going to use NXT and for WHAT?

Ethereum is for smart contracts = easy to underststand and easy for businesses to implement
Z-Cash is for secure and anonymous transactions = easy to understand and easy to build use-cases for
IOTA is for micro/nano-transactions and data transfer = easy to underststand and easy for businesses to implement

Nxt is currently an amalgam of 10 different things. It tries to be this univeral solution, which by all laws of engineering and design is impossible without severe trade offs in every department, meaning that you end up with the ultimate subpar solution. So IMO the IPO discussion is premature, first and foremost there should be a discussion about Nxt's actual utility and what market problem it aims to be a 10x solution for.

Nxt 2.0, while I haven't had time to dig deep into it, seems to me to be an ad-hoc frankenstein solution with no clear goal. Nxt development could learn a lot from iterative development with real life input, rather than these grandeur 1 year long theoretical roadmaps that build a software that might have zero real life utility.

If you are asking us to diverge from our roadmap I.E. go out of stealth just to appease you, then yes you are certainly asking too much.

However other than that updates will be coming, yes.

Here is the 'problem' that is hard to communicate across to so many JINN holders: there's a lot of information we cannot share, simply because it would be detrimental to the project. Unfortunately certain trolls like to quote-mine out of context or use our updates for pumping JINN tokens, which then lead to us being bombarded with questions etc. Honestly it's a big issue that this sort of funding approach need to work out.

Jinn is in development as always, more components have been designed and we are approaching the time to put it all together into the processor core. We're all very excited about this, but will not announce anything 'to the world' before we know it works. This is our roadmap and PR strategy.
Additionally we are hiring new engineers to boost the development, but again I can not give out any details just yet.

If you happen to be a developer you will find this work (sponsored by Jinn) very interesting: http://homepage.cs.uiowa.edu/~jones/ternary/libtern.shtml

As for the infamous website: as soon as IOTA is launched we'll start building the presence of Jinn.

Everyone that want to be a part of the IOTA Ryver (equivalent to Slack, just more focused) send me your email in PM along with some info on what skills you got. This Ryver is focused on getting things done and creation, not speculating.
