Common Peer Server Packet Hex Strings
« on: July 23, 2014, 04:30:38 pm »

I am wondering what typical packet hex strings are sent to public nodes... What do they look like, how to they start, how do they end, how long are they? The purpose of knowing this would be to configure iptables to only allow these packets through port 7874 and to drop the others. This way someone can't just send random packets to 7874. I want it to only be open for NXT Packets.

Hey, there was a reply here. What happened to it. I didn't have time to incorporate into my iptables rules.
