Everybody here has at least one field of interest, which is his reason to own NXT. - Share it. Write it down. ...
All contributions to nxter.org will be rewarded with Nxterpoints (NXTP).
That's a great initiative. Love the NXT and Supernet updates so far.
I think I could write ideas down for this.... And steal your Nxterpoints
I'll collect some thoughts over the next weeks.
Sounds good! Steal as many as you can.

Great ideas apenzl!! Competitions are a great way to get people active!
"CryptoFest" would love to work with you and the nxter.org team to help promote NXT!
Thanks.

I've posted your link here, btw:
https://nxtforum.org/asset-exchange-general/(ann)(ico)-nxtmovie/msg118566/The competitions aim for the same end goal as what Nexern describes, but takes a slightly differently path to get there.
i already wrote about this but here is one example for crowdfunding.
1. locate where the innovators/seekers etc. are organized. e.g. portals, forums etc.
2. create a landing page for them, explaining exactly the steps neccessary todo.
3. contact/inform them e.g. within a forum with serveral thousends users.
4. provide asisistance for one succesfull run
5. if neccesary even cover the initial costs for them. they are valuable replicators.
one succesfull funding will spread like wildfire.
repeat this for DGS -> music | videos and other easy to transfer digital goods.
moreover, support additional blockchain based projects reaching the external market e.g.
an nxt version of proof of existence http://www.proofofexistence.com/.
do the same here. locate the target group in the net and communicate with them to create
a first use case.
this bottom->top approach works! i already using this for the hive project. this way
nxt can easily reach forums with 1.000 - 100.000 users with very tiny costs, just go
where the users are.
This nxter.org thing is just an attempt to drum ppl together to make more happen.
The magazine part is bringing ppl in + spreading the word. The main goal of nxter.org (IMO) is to motivate ppl to take part, give ordinary ppl and businesses a clear understanding of what Nxt can do for them. Yes, it's a promotional tool too. For Nxt, Nxt businesses, coins with NxtInside. Our motivation is to PUSH the word about Nxt and its use cases, not to take credit.
Bad communication / management is still a major problem in our community IMHO. This slows everything down. Good things may be happening "behind the scenes" somewhere, but unfortunately the knowledge of this makes most community members just sit back and wait for stuff to get built. Nxt to go to the moon. "Others will do it".
I hope Nxt Marketing is working.
I hope Nxt Foundation is working.
I hope Nxt Organization is working.
I hope the Nxt Inside initiative will be working.
But most of all I hope(d) they would coordinate their work and be more transparent about it in the forum. It just won't happen?!! So I'm trying to get back to gathering information from all the Nxt parties, put it together and publish it. 1. as a Nxt promotion but MOST IMPORTANTLY 2. as a necessary service to ourselves and 3. as a attempt to actively
target and
reach new user groups and businesses.
I'm not easily pissed off, I don't flame ppl, and I think I'm in an ok standing with about everyone here. So my hope is, that individuals and the parties mentioned above will cooperate, or use nxter.org as a central point of information where they themselves can post and be sure that we'll get the word out. I'm interested in creating a community driven hub. Not in centralizing Nxt. Not in personally drinking aperitifs and being photographed with a big mr. Corporate Business CEO. I'm sure others will do that better than me.
Nxter.org is what I can contribute with. It's a domain, a user base and a handwritten service, but it can be turned into anything. Whoever contributes can add value, so you choose. Whatever net profit nxter.org will make from contributions, advertisement, article sales, sponsors and partnerships is shared among all contributors or reinvested in initiatives to benefit Nxt, NXT, NxtInside, Nxt Movement.
Bah, what a promo speech this turned into. I'm supposed to announce this on Monday. I still will. But thanks for great feedback, I hope this leads to more action.
