what you give is what you get

From Nexter (Feb 2018):

On the other hand, we won’t agree for exchanges to blackmail us and 30K Binance [$BNB] is blackmail.
...but ask companies to pay huuge amount (in EUR) for issuing an child-chain is .... ok :).

....after all they are making money from it.
After all, Ardor platform would make money from traffic delivered by new child-chains - hahaha :).

Simply: what you give to the world is what you get form it :).

Ardor kind like an exchange, once your child-chain is online, you instantly got the ability to trade with other chains like Ignis and AEUR.

Let's say:

Everyone can issuing an child-chain.

But you have to hold 30K Ardor to bundle.

Now we are like Binance but have much better transparency.

...not a bad idea actually. :D :D :D

But Jelurida wouldn't make money from it. The fees go to Ardor holders, not Jelurida directly.

Exactly this is what I thought too!

Let's say:
Everyone can issuing an child-chain.
Let's add: if you sign NDA first and then pay huuge amount of EUR to Jelurida :).

How much does Jelurida ask to create a child chain?  It seems counterproductive to charge excessive fees for this as Ardor needs the the widespread use in order to gain value. I would think that Jelurida would make most of their money by promoting Ardor and seeing the price increase given the vast amounts of Ardor and IGNIS they hold.

In my simple common sense, the fee is to ensure that applicants have a genuine project and business use case, just like a blockchain transaction fee for the miners/forgers. But I hope it's not that exorbitant  :)

Sure they would, when you factor in their ARDR HODL'ings.  :o
